The perfect place to stay in Budapest

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Hilton Budapest. Everything about it was great. If you love photography, this location is ideal as there is always something stunning to photograph. At breakfast the view of the Hungarian Parliament Building is sublime but then if you like to walk at night you have St Matthias Church, Fisherman's Bastion and the Buda Castle virtually to yourself to capture. The atmosphere in that area is special- it all feels so surreal. Getting to be Pest side is easy as there are regular buses to take you there.
The room was comfortable, spacious, clean, quiet and with all the amenities you expect of the Hilton brand. From my room I was lucky to have St Matthias church to admire.
The service was excellent. I had a problem with my suitcase and after calling reception, had a staff member come and promptly assist me. This was much appreciated.
Breakfast is amazing. There is a huge selection of food that will cater for all tastes. It was such a pleasure waking up and knowing that there was so much delicious food to choose from.
Make sure you get in early and book at the White Raven sky bar and enjoy a cocktail or two. Reservations open up 3 weeks in advance. The photos you'll get here will be incredible.
Overall, the Hilton Budapest was fantastic and I can't wait to go back there one day.

Premium location

Set in the heart of the Royal Hill, this premium hotel offers a The hotel is a converted old monastery with beautiful stained glass views from the corridors and executive lounges. The Executive Lounge also offers views of the Danube and Budapest's iconic parliament building.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but there is no bathtub. There is a heating and dryer in the bathroom, and you can dry your bathing suits wet from the hot springs or pool.
Breakfast options at the restaurant are modest. Asian dishes (such as dumplings and fried rice) may need to improve their taste.
The hotel's official website stated that JCB could be used, but when I actually tried to use JCB, I got an error and couldn't use it.
I'm a Gold member, but unfortunately there was no room upgrade and I paid 60 euros extra to enter the lounge. It was worth paying for lounge access.

Awesome experience!

We stopped at the Codex Bar for Tokay before leaving Hungary and had a most wonderful experience with Gyula describing the wine and area it comes from. Excellent!!!

1st tier location for the tourist, sadly we were there for the Sziget fest, so couldn't really use much the amenities and all, but room is spacious, staff is friendly and well trained.
Will consider to come back just to enjoy next time.

Great stay

This hotel has a great location in the castle district, rooms are spacious, bed is very comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet with stunning views, and we also tried the sky bar - nice menu, DJ playing in the background, very lively athmosphere, and best views of the city. Will definitely return!
