Great solution for those who choose the Arena!
Excellent 4 star budget hotel for its category, spotless and new rooms, available all services from laundry to car rental etc. Very close to the beach, 5 min walk scarce. Top breakfast, purely Spanish dinner with international mix. Staff polite and nice.
The area is practically dedicated to the Germans, but the sea deserves a lot and is perfect for those looking for nightlife and a central point with everything and also very convenient if you want to move as it is also very connected by bus.
I highly recommend!

It does not deserve 4 stars
It does not deserve 4 stars. It has 3 too many. I have been to more hotels in that area with 4 stars and nothing like this one. It already 'smells' not so great as soon as you enter the hotel. 2 elevators for 8 floors, you enter the room and it smells bad, like pipes, dirty and torn curtain, a spider web on the ceiling that accompanied me for the 3 days and the shower screen broken, which I got locked in. The buffet closes at 9:00 PM but if you go down at 8:40 PM half of it is cleared away. We are not coming back. Not recommended for families. At least the lady who cleaned was very pleasant.

Disappointing experience: noisy hotel not up to 4 stars
We stayed at this 4 star hotel in the Arenal area, but sincerely of 4 stars has very little.
Upon arrival, while waiting for the room, I went to the bathrooms of the reception and the situation was bad: ruined wooden doors, poorly maintained bathroom and without even soap. The management of the luggage storage was also questionable: there were German tourists changing and walking around in their underwear without any control or attention to other guests.
The room was decent, but absolutely not up to a 4-star rating. The window did not close and anyone could have opened it from the outside, which made us feel unsafe, also because the terraces were all connected to each other.
During the night it was impossible to rest: screaming, squawking and groups of drunk tourists at all hours. Even a glass bottle fell on our terrace. The area and the hotel seem to be frequented mainly by Germans who already from 8/9 in the morning wander around with beer in hand until late at night.
Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for tranquility, safety, cleanliness and a hotel truly worthy of the four stars declared.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY HOTEL !!!!
They are NOT Family friendly, we came to hotel an booked room for two adults, but did not mentioned our 2.5 year old kid , when we arrived at 22:40 evening they kicked us out with all child and without money recovery.
Only offer was to buy one more room to split us!
Nothing so stiupid i had never seen in all world, management is unprofessional.
Booking said to connect with hotel at least about refund, what i did eye on eye on them.
And they only said sorry we cant.
After 5 days i came another time speak about situation and they even did not cared about my lost money, they said thats the rules.
Even if i asked for room upgrade they said - NO, when i asked for lost money discount to buy better apartment also was - NO.
Stay away if you want to visit that family unfriendly place, hope they will invest in staff and Hotel management education courses for money they charged from our family.
Booking say that you can get refund if connect with hotel, but they all said they cant do nothing and sorry, so its legal thiefs.
After that, they put in booking that i was not showed up , and everything fine.
Scammers.
