Lovely apartment

We have Just returned from a 2 night stay today from Waterside Apartments at Charlotte Quay Dock, Dublin. Upon arrival in Dublin, we messaged to say that we had arrived & had requested to check in between 10am-11am & was messaged back to say that would be as close to that as possible. We made our way to the apartment & got a hold of one of the owners who said that it wasn’t ready. We requested contact to let us know when it would be ready. We walked into the city centre (with our suitcases) & received a phone call from one of the owners who said it would be 1400 & to meet at KC Peaches, Pearse Street (1 minute walk from accommodation). We were there for that time, called as no appearance. The male then said that he had said to me 1500, which was clearly 1400. We had been walking about in the rain since 1100 & now had to sit for an hour in KC Peaches. Josef finally appeared about 1515 to take us to the apartment - despite the booking on booking.com saying check in from 1400.
We were very pleased with the apartment. Within a lovely building, nice area & very spacious. It comprised of 2 double bed rooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen & spacious living room, dining area & balcony. apartment was clean, modern & covered all bases. We were given two keys for the apartment which suited us as there were 3 of us.
The apartment had a slight waterside view if you looked to the side. It is about 15-20 minutes moderate walk into the city centre. If doing tourist things, there is a stop for the green Hop-on-hop-off bus just a couple of streets away just outside Facebook offices. There is a couple of supermarkets just the other side of the bridge. The location is quite near to 3 Arena.
The building was very quiet & not disturbed at any point. Bed very comfy & the smart tv gives you all the benefits to cater for everyone.
I would definitely return here. The only reason that I didn’t give full marks was due to the issues at the very start, but no complaints apart from that.

Nice oweres but disapointing apartments

Of the two apartments advertised only one of them is at Quayside the other is close but across a busy road and considerably smaller without a waterside view. The showers need a little understanding in order to work them as there is low pressure. It would help if a note explaining this was in the apartment. There are a few basics that were missing from one of the apartments like tea towels and an oven tray in order to grill on. Finally it is disapointing to say that the appartments were not particularly clean
That said the Quayside apartment has a really nice view of the waterfront. We also had very good telephone service when we encountered problems with an immediate response to our enquires.

Bon compromis

Convient parfaitement pour la visite de Dublin, 20' à pied de Trinity collège
Appartement sécurisé bien conçu calme spacieux, proche de la ligne de bus pour le centre
Bon rapport qualité prix car les hôtels sont chers à Dublin
Des difficultés avec le réseau Wifi: aucun de nous ne pouvait se connecter
Un petit raffraichissement serait bien
