SHAMEFUL. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
The photos that appear on the internet do not reflect reality at all. The building is old, with an elevator that is scary to get into, and you have to take a short course to know how to locate the entrance door and access both the building and the establishment itself, with codes that are not well explained in the messages they send you.
On the other hand, the room key belongs to a 19th-century movie, and security is minimal.
When you arrive, there is absolutely no one to welcome you. They advertise it as a family-friendly place, with staff who speak four languages and a front desk. Absolutely false. There is only someone there at breakfast time. I suppose they are employees who do what they can, they half-speak English and only one of them speaks Italian, although given the result, the language doesn't matter, because you talk to them and they pay absolutely no attention to you. They were only interested in getting paid. The rest of the day, there is absolutely no one there to count on. And, of course, the owner is neither there nor expected to be.
The reception does not exist. It is a table in the kitchen that is used as an office. The rooms (most of them) face the kitchen itself or the breakfast dining room. Ours, number 8, at least, was separate, next to a living room.
The breakfast was not very varied, and with things that looked like they were accumulating from one day to the next, and everything in bowls, in bulk, with the lack of guarantees that implies (such as, for example, the sugar, the margarine, the jams, the yogurt,...). Not to mention the fruit, with bananas that, from one day to the next, were turning black and inedible. It's shameful.
The room, a nightmare. Although they claim daily cleaning in their advertising, my sister and I were there for four nights and they didn't clean a single day. Even though we spoke with one of the workers and begged them to clean our room, they didn't do it, even though they assured us they would. They only emptied the trash cans and left us some towels. I even had to look for toilet paper myself in a closet, or we would have run out.
The sheets, of course, were not changed. They didn't even make the bed. The only thing they did was pull up the bedspread to cover up the fact that they had left it as is. That was on the day they went, because the rest of the time they didn't even enter.
The lack of cleanliness is regrettable. In the bathroom, the only decent thing is the toilet. Closing and opening the sliding door is quite a challenge, and it doesn't even fit, so privacy in the bathroom is 0. On the floor, two rugs where colonies of millions of dust mites must live and where it didn't occur to us to set foot. In the room, the same thing. The rugs must not have been cleaned since the day they were bought. The shower has to be rested on a plastic container and there is no way to hold it.
There is dust accumulated everywhere and everything, everything is neglected, old, and very, very dirty. Not even the television works. A disgrace. It seems to have 4 stars. In my opinion, the quality is -1. I don't know if they are in the process of closing it and no longer try, because otherwise I don't understand this absurdity. The faces of those of us staying there were in shock, not believing what we were experiencing.
And I am leaving more things out (the noise, the lack of privacy,...), but I think with this we can already get a general idea.
I hope people are very careful and do not choose this establishment under any circumstances and have such an unpleasant experience.

The worst accommodation in Budapest
The breakfast was basic and the fruit was overripe. The bananas were the same every day, getting blacker each time. Nobody took them. According to Booking there was daily cleaning service, but since they didn't clean the first day, I told them it was included and upon arriving in the afternoon they had only pulled up the bedspread. Inside, the bed was unmade and the pillow was wrinkled too. We have photos of what we are saying. It has been an unpleasant stay. I don't understand people's opinions. In the worst reviews there are many people who think the same, but they post reviews from other years and without a date, so who knows if they are true. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to express our frustration with such a scam. Regards

B&B not very serious and unprofessional with its guests
months in advance, and one day before traveling, they canceled it without any explanation. They were probably oversold or received a more interesting reservation. Obviously, they did not charge me anything, but with no time left, I had to go out and book something else in a very large city that I did not know.
BEWARE OF THESE UNRELIABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL HOTELS
