Best Breakfast in Edinburgh

Had a breakfast with my family , such a peaceful hotel with friendly breakfast team , the food was top notch , fresh fruits and good selection of food including really nice fried eggs.. my entire family including my children loved it. I absolutely recommend everyone to visit this hotel.

Pros: 1. central location; walking distance to the train station, St James Quarters, Edinburgh Street Food 2. Well-staffed
Cons: 1. bathroom is small; has the tiniest sink I’ve seen - washing my face was a challenge 2. Bedroom is musty- the carpet needs deep cleaning 3. Breakfast did not have healthy choices; no fresh fruits except for bananas

Nice Hotel but not for GF breakfast

The hotel was very well located close to the city in an attractive area. Check in was slow but staff were friendly. Bedroom was very nice and well provided for. Breakfast was a big disappointment for a 4 star hotel. As a Gluten free person I was surprised there was no GF section as in many hotels. I was given GF toast and offered GF muesli which was of very poor quality mostly cornflakes. Orange juice also not freshly squeezed and fruit salad poor - overall well short of other comparable 4 star hotel breakfasts, who offer things such as omelettes ( at no extra cost)

Best hotel in heart of edinburgh

Our stay at Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh was absolute perfection, made unforgettable by an extraordinary team!
Front Desk: Joe, Ana, and Maria gave us the warmest, most welcoming check-in and VIP treatment throughout.
Dinner Team: Christy, Nick, and Ben provided top-tier service, charm, and amazing food at the bar & grill.
Breakfast Team: Prenija and Yoshuma brought wonderful energy, fast service, and bright smiles every morning.
Night Team: Sanja and Sarika were wonderfully supportive, efficient, and kind during the late hours.
Every shift went above and beyond. Joe, Ana, Maria, Sanja, Sarika, Prenija, Yoshuma, Christy, Nick, and Ben are a true dream team. We can't wait to return—highly recommended!

Sunday Lunch at 1802 Lounge & Grill

Reserved a table for Sunday Lunch for 4 people at 1802 restaurant. Venue was very clean and tables well laid out. Food was delicious, wide choices of starters/mains/desserts. Plates and food were piping hot and quality of food was excellent. Our server, Prenija, was very attentive and friendly which we really appreciated
