Homely accommodation in Edinburgh.

Very nice couple who live in the house. The son and I had a room with 2 separate beds and our own really nice bathroom. Nice breakfast prepared for each guest, Scottish or Continental. And we got very good information about everything we wanted to know. The bus into Edinburgh goes just outside and takes about 20 minutes.

Start Your Scottish Vacation Here!

This is a WONDERFUL B&B. The owners are welcoming and incredibly helpful. The breakfast was outstanding, great Scottish Breakfast! We were given extra to take with us for the day. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom lovely and all around GREAT start to our Scottish vacation!

A lovely stay

We loved our stay at this B&B! Lynne and Rob were amazing and so welcoming. From the fantastic breakfast to the two types of whiskey available to try to the comfortable beds we had no complaints. We were given instructions on how to get to the B&B from downtown (bus 26) and they even let us check in early. They also gave great recommendations of places to eat and tours to take. If I am back in Edinburgh, I will definitely try to stay here again.

Owners rude and unprofessional

Stayed Hogmanay...booked in September for my mum and sister & booking.com said sleeps 4 so my brother came song last minute. Paid £270 for small room but as Hogmanay didn’t mind. When we arrived the owners were rude and aggressive as there was 4 of us not 3. Tried to explain that I thought it was ok as sleeps 4, didn’t mind paying extra but Lynne the owner continued to patronise us and said if we had a problem to leave, which we couldn’t do as Hogmanay and everything would be fully booked. We paid an extra £85 for my brother and she still contacted booking.com to say we hadn’t followed policy of booking. Bitter and rude woman who thankfully didn’t ruin our new year as I was with my favourite people and visiting Scotland for 2 weeks as I work abroad. Very disappointing indeed! Owners need to learn some people skills and manners.

Pleasent and exceeds expectations

Hosts were welcoming on our arrival and had kept a chocolate box in the room which was very thoughtful. Room had every neccesity that a traveller would need. Room linen and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was fabulous and Lynne was very kind to offer us to pack some of it for the day. I would definitely visit again whenever I come down to Edinburgh.
