Excellently organised and in an excellent location apartment
The owner of this holiday building apartments is very well organised and professional in the manner in which my booking was dealt with. My query email was replied to in full. The access code to my apartment and wifi code were received by me 1 hour before check-in. An email was sent to me to check that I had got into the apartment. The apartment was very nice, clean and with a welcoming perfumed air. The cleaning lady came twice during my stay and she changed the bed sheets and provided a new set of towels. She even washed up my breakfast dishes. The apartment is in a quiet cul-de-sac type of street. It is ideally placed on the edge of the old quaint quarter behind the beautiful medieval Palace 'House of Pilato' which I highly recommend to be visited. Yet, the apartment is also within 5 mins walk of many useful City Circular buses, pharmacy, Carrefour supermarket, shops, restaurants, etc. Walking inwards to the historical centre is a delight passing bustling little squares with tapas bars, cafés, shops, etc. Lovely heritage streets and then the Cathedral comes into view. I would return to this apartment without any hesitation.

fatal experience
In my review, I would not choose it again, we touched a bass, just the one in the image with the striped paper, the door (covered with a visillo that does not finish covering) that looks in that room is right to the street so it has no privacy. In our stay in addition to mosquitoes we find a dead cockroach.
The only good thing is it's pretty close to downtown. A car park is a 10-minute walk away.

Terrace and sun
Loyalty to Singular apartments and new experience in the neighborhood near Santa Cruz in the Pilatos residence. In the heart of the city, monuments and shops. We are always delighted with the cleanliness and welcome. The responsiveness of the staff is noteworthy. No downside since we hope to return in November 2024. (only small remark, no light near the sofa: floor lamp type).
Highly recommended.

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
Our stay here was definitely a mixed bag. First, the good things: the apartment was newly refurbished with nice marble tile floors. Furnishings were newer, but the style and colors were certainly a bit odd. The kitchen facilities were okay and reasonably well equipped. My wife and I made several nice meals in the apartment during our stay. The air conditioning was adequate, but difficult to figure out for the first couple days.
Now the bad... the neighborhood is ancient and frankly a bit seedy. Yes, Seville is an old city, but this particular area was rather unnerving for my wife to be out alone at night. Also, the lighting in the bedroom and the kitchen was very poor. The two wobbly lamps in the tiny bedroom had maybe 10-watt bulbs -- totally useless. In the kitchen, the overall lighting was simply inadequate. One bulb above the stove was out, and there was no light over the kitchen table.
Also, two weeks before our check-in date, a sizable room charge appeared on my American Express account. Singular had charged the entire stay in advance to the credit card I had on file with Booking.com. This may have appeared somewhere in the fine print of the online agreement, but we had every intention of paying in Euros at check-in to avoid the typical foreign transactions fees and poor bank exchange rates. An unpleasant surprise to say the least!
As if that was not bad enough, daily housekeeping services at this Singular property are an additional 20 Euros per day. What? This is undisclosed in the rental agreement, but does appear as a brief statement on a sign attached to the inside of the front door. Don't ya' just love these opportunity charges some folks feel compelled to foist upon unsuspecting travelers? We emailed and called management and declined this service and the associated gotcha fees. In all fairness, housekeeping did come by with fresh towels after 3 days and fresh sheets on the 5th day at no extra charge.
And here is the downright ugly stuff -- the most annoying feature was the 28-inch square shower box that would only properly fit a child. There was no shower shelving for soap or shampoo (just a shower gel dispenser). Showering required wetting down, opening both of the corner doors, reaching out to the shelf above the toilet for your supplies, lathering up, putting the supplies down (because not enough room to bend over to pick them up off the shower floor), then closing the doors again to rinse off. An absolute nightmare! After our 6-night stay, we were very happy to check out.
In doing a bit of online research, it became apparent that Singular is a large company that has acquired a dozen similar properties in the Seville area. They have rehabbed these apartment buildings seemingly to establish their own private air B&B operation. From our experience, as well as the comments of neighboring guests, along with the comments of several online reviews, it is obvious that Singular puts far more emphasis on their revenue stream than on the comfort and convenience of their guests. Our recommendation is to stay elsewhere in Seville. Definitely NOT recommended.

As for the payment of your reservation, it was processed based on the policy selected in the reservation process. Also, this is indicated in the confirmation of your reservation, and on Booking.com they could have kindly explained this issue.
As for the cleaning, at the time of booking, you receive an email with all the information regarding your reservation, and in the case of cleaning you are indicated all the information in detail depending on the number of nights of your stay, and also for customers who request it they have a daily cleaning service in case they demand it.
Finally, we do not share that Seville is an ancient city, but a city that preserves its entire history intact with the largest historical center in Europe. Its building being located in one of the most unique neighborhoods of Seville as the Sevillian Jewish quarter.
In short, we feel that your experience has not been to your liking.

Conveniently located apartment
In an ideal situation for visiting several of the most interesting areas of Sevilla, this is a spacious, beautifully presented apartment. It is well equipped and comfortable. Singular Pilatos offer the chance to have meals delivered to the apartment but we were able to find several bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.
