Wonderful stay.

The Hotel is in a great location, across the street from the Plaza de España. Taxis to downtown we’re very affordable.
The rooms were clean and spacious, housekeeping came every day. It had a large pool overlooking the plaza de España. The pool had a very nice bar and Restaurant next to it.
The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
The main thing that sets this hotel apart from all the others is the fabulous breakfast they have. Large dining area with all types of
choices. The food was fantastic.

Perfect for long weekend

Media hotel is perfectly positioned for that city break, in a quiet area, about 10 minute walk to red route tourist bus stop point 2, the plaza del espana is opposite the hotel. Hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. The interior has been refurbished, exterior needs a bit of attention though. If it’s hot the pool area gets very busy. Useful tip worth taking the room upgrade as it includes access to The Level which is open all day for inclusive drinks, fruit and snacks.

Sadly not what I was expecting

This is our 4th visit and unfortunately it has been disappointing. Whilst in general the hotel is the same it has been the pool bar that has let it down significantly on this visit. When we arrived all the sunbeds were taken so was offered a Balinese bed for €40 and you got the same back in food /drink at the bar. A good offer to be fair but the beds are not next to the pool and they allowed a family of young screaming children to use the second it was not was I was expecting. The first 2 days we ordered lunch. Day one was just about edible however on the second we hardly touched sending the sweet potato fries back that were uncooked and swimming in oil only to be swapped by tasteless wedges and a club sandwich that was bland. We did not eat!
The service was also very poor, at times waiting up to 15 minutes for a sprite.
To top it off they then started with a renovation to the bar. This was not advised on check in. Excruciating noise whilst drilling metal frames started from 10am until late afternoon across 2 days. This is not a relaxing break I was hoping for and when speaking to the ‘Members Experience’ Manager I am not sure she understood her role as ‘Member Experience’. Yes I did receive my €15 back for the club sandwich but I would prefer to pay in full enjoy the food and leave feeling I’ve had a great break, fully rested which has been my previous experience. All in all very disappointing!

If you like to sleep-this isn’t the place for you. Clean, beautiful, great location. The air conditioning does not work, the bed is rock hard, and the staff was ripping carpet out at 9am (our time zone is 6 hours behind here, we need sleep). You can hear everything outside. Zero sleep.

Amazing

Amazing time at Melia Seville. Great hotel thoroughly recommend The Level rooms. The location is great and all the staff amazing. Pool busy but Ines the pool manager is amazing and does her best to accommodate everyone. Big shout out to level lounge staff all great and so welcoming but special mention to Luna and Veronica always going the extra mile. Thank you for making our holiday so fantastic. Michael and Tom
