Good hotel, excellent location, well connected. Hope you get a larger bed :-)
- For Bilbao the price is very reasonable
- Close to public transport (very easy to reach from the airport, next to metro & bus station)
- Room: Small but nice and clean
- Staff : reception is not 24/7 but facilities are good , especially the luggage storage lockers, very convenient.
CONS
- The bed was quite small, REALLY a limit small / narrow size for two.
- don't be fooled by the really unattractive entrance, once you are in the hotel it's really very nice. You get clear instructions by mail on how to enter, but we did need to search for the entrance a while...

Very disappointing experience because it is very different from the photos and descriptions on booking.com
First of all, the property is classified as a **two-star**, while on Booking it is presented in a way that can easily make one think of a higher category and is defined as a 4-star “Boutique Hotel”. This description alone creates expectations that do not correspond at all to reality.
There is no reception at street level: to reach it you have to go up to the first floor of a building. Breakfast service is not offered and, above all, the quality of the room, the spaces, and the general impression of the property are very different from what the photographs published online lead one to imagine.
The most serious incident involved a pair of practically new Capri sandals, which I had left to dry by placing them on the edge of a basket, precisely to avoid them dripping on the floor. The cleaning staff removed them and, according to what I was told, considered them items to be thrown away. I find it unacceptable that one would autonomously decide to discard a guest's personal item without asking them anything first. A simple question would have sufficed.
The location, near the San Mamés stadium, is also rather decentralized compared to the more touristy and central areas of Bilbao.
Overall, what disappointed me the most was the strong discrepancy between the image and expectations created online and the reality of the property once you arrive. When booking a hotel, one expects that the description, photographs, and services faithfully represent what one will find on-site.
Based on my experience, I would absolutely not recommend it.

Fabulous. Surpassed all expectations.
The hotel check in was easy. Information was sent in advance with a door key. This was easy to remember. Receptionist was very polite and friendly with great customer service skills. Reception area had sofas to get comfy in if you needed to wait. I did not have need of the luggage room but other guests seemed happy using it.Entrance was cool and extremely clean.
The room we had was described as a double, basic economy. There was nothing basic about it! Very comfortable double bed. Super clean linens , towels were of really good quality. Hair dryer, ironing board, teas coffees and a fast boil kettle. Good full length mirror, chair, large table and a mini fridge. Bottled water in room on arrival and replaced when empty. GREAT AIRCON. Windows that fully open on one half. Inner court view..was not the most pleasant but was not offensive..kept clean by residents in the other buildings. There was a nice smart t.v This is where, for me, the hotel lost a point. There was not one English Channel to be found. I was unable to cast to it. Wi-Fi was free.great stron room lighting with super bedside lights + sockets.
Bathroom was luxurious. Soaps and shower gels and conditioners were really nice to use. I was in room 606.
This hotel is a perfect hotel whether budget friendly or not. Don’t let the proximity of the football stadium deter you. Incredible quiet and just perfect for my needs. I will certainly make this my hotel of choice. Give it a go, folks.

This hotel is a wee gem. Loved it, loved Bilbao. Loved the warmth shown by the people of Bilbao. First time in many years of travel to have had a smile on my face and an aching body after miles of riverside walking, the funicular, the museums,churches and the amazing pintxos
Oh, don’t forget the cheesecake.. no need to say any more.

Great little stay in Bilbao
Compact, comfortable room with private bathroom. Very clean & quiet. Water, tea & coffee free in the room
