Gorgeous

Thank you for the most wonderful stay! You will not find a host more welcoming than Karima in all of Marrakech. She made us feel so welcome, answered all of our questions and gave us recommendations for a good Hammam and souqs to visit. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was taken care of. The riad itself is beautiful, a peaceful and quiet oasis within the very centre of the Medina. Everything is nearby and easily walkable. The rooms were comfortable and the riad is beautiful. Every morning Karima makes a beautiful breakfast - she makes the best tea in Marrakech, we tried it everywhere and none was as good as hers. Thoroughly recommend staying here, you’ll have a lovely time.

A good Riad. But be careful not to get the room on the terrace.

We certainly picked the short straw with this Riad. The room which is located on the roof terrace is totally isolated from the other rooms. It is poorly furnished without a wardrobe, carpets or hangers. The doors to the tiny bathroom won't close, and the room wasn't serviced once while we were there.
The friendliness of Sidi and his wife cant be faulted, and the breakfast is very good, especially the coffee. But they really must be explicit about their extra room which is not up to standard When I asked the manager, he claimed that it was the room I had chosen but all I had said that I needed a room for 3. I dont like to give negative reviews to a family-run small hotel, but Sidi decided not to change our room when he had the chance. He did give me the taxi ride from the airport as compensation, but as this was shared with 4 other guests who were given it free, I really did feel short-changed.
For reference, I was charged a total of 270 euros for 3 nights for 3 guests in this disappointing bedroom.
In summary, if you decide to stay in this well-located and friendly riad, do make sure that you are not given the bedroom at the top on the terrace

Family of Marrakesh

If you decide to know the true culture of Marrakesh, I recommend staying here. It will be an immersion!!!! Family environment, great location, and super super safe. Karima treated me like a son, always attentive and helpful. When I go to Marrakech I will be staying at Karima's house again.

We are very satisfied with Riad Sidi Omar Services.

Superb stays at Riad Mr Omar, and Karima, Samira and all the family welcoming very friendly is family.
Pt breakfast too good and hearty especially we drink tea several times during the free day, the services really very well, the large family room, clean.
I'm really satisfied.
Insha Allah we would come one day.❤️

The hosts are lovely and very welcoming.
The Riad is incredibly difficult to find when you first arrive - although made easier in the knowledge that white arrows have been crudely painted to display the correct route through the labyrinth of the Medina.
It was quite overwhelming to navigate through dark alleys, unsure of where you are going.
The property would benefit from more visible signage, or sending an email to guests with directions prior to the stay.
The Riad is a little rundown, with windows cracked and missing in the rooms - however they still display the gorgeous Moroccan decor.
I am unlikely to stay here again, having stayed at another local Riad during the same trip - however I do not regret my visit to this authentic and traditional Riad.
