Very helpful staff and exceptional food.

The staff is very helpful, and the food is very good. The breakfast is very complete, the room is very clean, and the place is quiet and relaxing.

Privacy issue

Let's start with the positive:
The housekeeping and kitchen staff are extremely competent and attentive. On that level, nothing to say: everything was offered and carried out in a very timely manner, especially during our absences from the Riad.
The room is decent and the Riad is truly superb, both visually and in terms of comfort. The breakfast offered is also quite sufficient.
Now for the negative points:
First of all, there is really a problem with privacy and intrusion on the part of some of the night security and reception staff. They constantly walk past your room or come to check if the air conditioning and lights are off, and this, several times a day.
For the record, I had ordered food, even though food is forbidden in the rooms. I simply went up to get my phone with the bag of food, then I went back down to eat.
The staff then took the liberty, on the sly, of coming up to knock on the door to check if my wife was eating in the room, even though she was sleeping and it was very late.
Furthermore, you will feel relatively scrutinized about many things. No bottle of water is provided, at any time during the stay.
The last evening, the day before our departure, we returned around midnight and we had no more water. A bottle costs 10 DH (about 1 €). The staff did not even make a commercial gesture by offering us a bottle of water even though we were thirsty.
In summary, the main problem with this Riad is clearly privacy. You will regularly feel like you are being watched or controlled during your vacation. Some "rules" are also perceived more as warnings as soon as you arrive.
The place remains decent and some of the staff are really very professional and pleasant, but unfortunately, I guarantee you that I will not return. The experience could have been much better if we had simply had more peace and privacy during our stay.

During renovation you should block the bookings

During our stay it was renovation, toxic smell from black paint. Dirty plastic on the ground, rude workers. Location was terrible to. Not recommend!!! After one our we run away from that dirty place.
It is better places in Marrakesh.

It could have been better

Location good shower without hot water and you have to be careful with the payment because they can ask you for cash even if booked with booking and then charge you more costs. Attention do not be fooled, if you book through cc let us authorize payment.

nice address

My daughter and I spent 5 nights in this magnificent Riad, an island of calm in the heart of the medina, perfectly located, the staff takes great care, doing everything to facilitate our stay.
the different lounges, whether on the ground floor or on the roof terrace, are arranged to guarantee total privacy.
the well-equipped rooms are made up every day, the breakfast is delicious.
we didn't take advantage of the swimming pool but, in the middle of summer, we can imagine the joy of being able to cool off there.
