Excellent value for money.

I stayed the night between August 2 and August 3, 2026. It pleasantly surprised me. From the outside, a normal apartment building door, a slow and somewhat cramped elevator, but already at the reception, you can tell that the place is clean. The check-in clerk was very polite, welcoming, and quick. After a few minutes, I was in my room, a single with a double bed that was not particularly large but very clean and gave the feeling of being new, especially the bathroom, which I believe was truly brand new, with a very spacious shower enclosure and towels that actually dry. A window overlooking the internal courtyard was enough to have enough air without necessarily having to use the air conditioner (which, however, worked perfectly and was quiet). Comfortable bed and pillows. Absolutely competitive price. Small flaws: noisy mini-fridge (a bit annoying at night as it was the only noise heard); LCD TV slow to respond to commands given.

"VERY OLD" DILAPIDATED ROOM

Good morning,
I am to report a disservice received c/o Vs. Structure
We booked 3 DUS rooms for the date of 23/03/26 but from what reported by colleagues the rooms , the bathroom were not as per your recent photos (see annex) you can not find such a dilapidated bathroom without spaces to "rule", rusty, is not admissible such a scam because the photos are not also posted that I attach?

The hotel exceeded expectations. It was tidy, clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel Garda provided clean and comfortable accommodations in a convenient central area of Rome. Our room was well furnished, featuring a wardrobe, desk, and a modern bathroom with a bath/shower combination. Although we were assigned a twin room, there was still sufficient space to move around comfortably.
The room had a traditional charm, with classic wood panelling and twin beds that gave it the feel of an old convent or historic European guesthouse. While the furnishings were well maintained, the mattress was quite firm, which made for a less comfortable night's sleep than we had hoped.
The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful with questions and requests throughout our stay. The hotel is also conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to explore Rome's many attractions and neighbourhoods.
Overall, Hotel Garda offers clean accommodations, attentive service, and an excellent location for visitors looking to experience the heart of Rome.

Location and convenience in the surroundings

The hotel’s strength is its location. From there, with some mobility, you do everything on foot. It is on the side of the park Vila Borguese. About 700 meters from the metro and 1 km from Fontana Di Trevi. The stretch when you are returning pro hotel is a slight rise. The hotel is on the fourth floor of a building. Reception served us mto well. The quarter is reasonable, small but not tiny. Clean. Good shower. The bad side is that you can hear EVERYTHING from the next door rooms, from a simple download to conversations. There's no manha coffee. In the corner of the hotel there is a local café that is frequented by locals and the service is also friendly and the price is ok. Right next to the hotel entrance there is a restaurant called Fiammifero which is very good too. The hotel gives 10% discount in the restaurant next door, but as there was full we ended up going to Fiammifero and it was the best thing. The owner, Felipho, served us very well, always smiling and making jokes. The food was good and the price fair. After our meal, Felipho also presented us with a portion of fresh fried fish, which he said had been fished that day, and also presented us with dessert cookies. All for free, just to please us. It was a great experience, we felt very valued as customers. In the end, I still took two bottles of water to take to the hotel and Felipho simply refused to have me pay. He said that the restaurant's pasta is homemade, which unless mistakenly is his mother's made for a while. After all, being in the hotel Garda is worth a meal at the end of the day in this restaurant, because as his own Felipe repeated, in "Rome you walk and eat" ahahha.
