The owner was great. At check in we were told if we had any problems just ring the bell no matter what time and she would assist us. We had a problem with the remote and she brought us a new one. She said if we couldn’t get the tv to work she would move us to another room. We did get it working. Then it was raining one day and she brought me an old towel to dry my puppy off after we would go out.

Booked and when I showed up at 4pm no one was there, I called the number and some kid who is the owner answered, told me he would check on the missing staff, then stopped answering the phone.
restaurant next door says guests at hotel 81 are not welcome.. which was very ominous

The reservation was a total screw up/disaster. I arrived and found that the office was locked up at 6:06pm and a sign saying all rooms sold out. No one was there. I called a number for the motel that I found online. The person said that there was no reservation in my name. I gave the itinerary number you supplied. The person continued to say there was no reservation.
I don’t know if a problem was on your end or the motel end. It was a TERRIBLE experience!!!

Don't stay here!

Do not stay here! The hotel is suppose to be newly renovated. What a crap job. Laminate floor was added over existing floors that were spongy in places. There was hair in the tub drain. Wall lights without shades, no plug ins to recharge phones, bed had a mattress wrapped in plastic so if you moved the sheets fell off made loud noises. Wind was blowing through the bottom of the door. I had to shovel a path from the car to front door. Where we checked in it full of cigarette smoke and she was in her pajamas at 6pm. while she checked us in. Dont stay here.
