Family stay .!

Hello all..Returned back after a weeks stay @ this hotel in munich.Downtown closer to old town hotel os located.Booked during the visa process and suggestion for this hotel came.No concierge available,Checkin process fast,Room could accommodate all 4 suitcases and 2 small trolleys.Nice Xmas decoration see images.room cleaning happens by noon.Day1 night something unpleasant was witnessed however the reception staff when addressed and send them a photo as requested Ensured guest satisfaction,room cleaning and change of room.However we opted not to.Tgey did a service recovery with sparkling wine+chocolate. Breakfast complimentary (Scrambled egg, cereals, yogurt, cheese selection, bread, preserve,juices hot beverage)waffle for Xmas day and following day.Gluewine by evening @ the bar counter free.Bar opens by evening.tea coffee making facility in room,Small mini bar available.No room service available.Vending machine available in hotel for beverages.outside there are shops to get food. Tram, metro, bus-station etc.Thankyou..!!

Hotel near the station.

Located near the station, with the pros and cons that this entails. Very basic hotel, small rooms, without any extra amenities (mini bar, courtesy coffee), very basic breakfast without praise. The property is all art-themed, which is a positive thing. Good price.

Staff was respectful, courteous, helpful. The building was charming, great location and decent sized room with great air-conditioning

Affordable and walkable, but watch the stairs

The Arthotel Munich is a fantastic choice if you want something affordable and convinient to the central station -- you can easily walk there with no hassle at all. The entrance has some steep stairs which can be a bit of a challenge with heavy luggage, and the annex building has no elevator, so keep that in mind when booking. Rooms are small but very unique in their layout, clean, and well thought out with really comfortable beds and great pillows. The windows could use better soundproofing and the blackout curtains are not the best -- early mornings in summer get bright fast, and there is a construction site across the road that does not help matters. That said, the staff are absolutely wonderful, some of the friendliest I have encountered anywhere on my travels. Breakfast is basic but filling, though better quality products would be a nice touch going forward. Overall a solid stay with a few minor trade-offs you might not find in other hotels of the same category, but well worth it for the price and the location.

Iron available in the room would have been good and unortunately we had to wait a while for a table for breakfast as it was so busy to cope.
