Local Bar and Eatery

Was staying at the nearby U Hotel and wanted to find a local bar to sit and have a drink. Maderla ticks that box. Friendly staff, good prices and a wide menu. Will be back.

Great experience

Great value for money! Very friendly reception, showed us the rooms before letting us decide, super breakfast, Great location on a busy road but you don't hear the noise in the rooms. Super clean rooms, bottled water, kettle and coffee.
We were delighted to stay at Maderla!

A fabulous find

I was staying at the nearby Pinnacle hotel which is an okay hotel but the Bar was pretty useless and lifeless. Food was bland and the TV showed nothing worth seeing there.
I walked around locally and found the MADERLA. All the other reviewers say everything nice about it - and I agree completely.
It's clean, compact, friendly and has 2 sports screens. Good food and a variety of drinks.
Highly recommended.

Enjoyable Bar

I have not been to this bar in decades and I am sure it had another name back then. A well appointed, charming little place. The staff were polite, the service good. It has both a restaurant and a guest house that I did not go to but for drinks just a nice to relax.

Great to have you back, you are completely right, the name of this place has been "Kenny" for decades. I would like to let you know that the same family is continuously managing it for about 30 years, also after the name change from "Kenny" to "Maderla". We found it is time for a change and with the name change we have done some renovations too. Glad that you enjoyed it!

Hidden gem in Bangkok ❤️

After searching and looking I found this little guesthouse/restaurant/bar. Must I admit that this is heaven in a city like Bangkok. These people are helpfull in any way, like joining me and giving their phone account to get me a sim... the ros are bi, very arty and so quiet, i felt so good after a busy day. The food is the best with very reasonable cheap prices. And the bar, small, lots of local people but just great. I saw a review about someone complaining he could not sleep due to the bar ???? Sorry but you’re on holiday or working or both like me but it didn’t bother me at all and thats what makes this place unique, the atmosphere, kindness.. and believe me I am a light sleeper and I didn’t hear a thing... you know some people write reviews out of jelousy cause they were not invited.... come down and have a drink. Enjoy life every minute... thank you MADERLA, Love you all....

Thank you for your lovely review. We know that it can get a little noisy at times at our place and therefore implemented double glass noise cancelling windows. It is great to hear that this was effective and you were not disturbed by any noise. Hopefully you will visit us again in the future!
