it is a basic room small but functional if all you do is use it to sleep and bath it does the job. Friendly staff and is in a very walkable neighborhood.

lazy staff

Booked a room there and had to cancel my vacation. Unfortunately i booked it as unrefundable. Asked the hotel well in advance if i could get a refund as it would have been easy for them to rent it again early summer and all the events taking place in Madrid in June. They refused as they probably thought it was easier for them pocketing the money without having to clean a room afterwards. Ergo: They‘re lazy or money-greedy or both. The client isn‘t one of their concerns.

Great location for getting around Madrid, restaurants nearby, Starbucks right across the plaza. Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and finding the right bus for public transportation. Room was very clean, but also very very small. No lobby to speak of. Good place to come home to sleep, but you wouldn't want to spend much time at the hotel.

Value for money top

Unpretentious hostal, small rooms, Spartan comfort but pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bedding. The place is very clean and ideally located to visit the city on foot or by transport. Easy access from the airport. Warm welcome and very good advice given on site. The noise of the surroundings, strongly animated, can not be heard from the room. Secure access 24 hours a day.

Very basic, had everything we needed and centrally located. Staff was friendly and helpful.
