I have come repeatedly to Cajamarca and this is the first time I stay at the hotel - it has made the stay unforgettable. The hotel and rooms are spectacular!! Being able to wake up and hear the birds, open the window and see the green of Cajamarca makes you start your day on the right foot. It is a 5 minute drive from Cajamarca city - and having this peace instead of the bustle of the city makes it worth it. Breakfasts were delicious. My husband and I asked for different options, and they gave my kids a choice. Children can play without problem in the green area next to the hotel's new pet, Chaos. A beautiful Peruvian dog that demonstrates every detail they take care of at the hotel. You won’t find a hotel that cares more about details and culture.
The hotel also has an art gallery that you can visit. They always make sure they are Peruvian artists, helping to promote artistic culture.
The staff is excellent and willing to help always. The owner of the hotel, Arturo, is always ready to talk and give you the best information.
The last night we enjoyed a wine with piqueos by the fireplace. What more can you ask for. I RECOMMEND STAINLESS EYES.

It's pleasant surprise staying in this hotel while I was only thinking to be close to airport. It is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed, the place is full of flowers and art, room is spacious, breakfast was excellent. High recommend this place.

Hotel Tartar, a beauty spot in Cajamarca
I discovered a real treasure in Cajamarca: Hotel Tartar. This oasis of warmth and elegance stole my heart from the get-go. The architecture and design of the hotel are something unique.
But what really impressed me was the hotel's art gallery. An impressive collection of works by Cajamarquian artists.
And in the evening, the campfire and wine were the perfect touch for a magical evening. I felt at home, surrounded by the beauty and warmth of Peruvian hospitality.

A very pleasant stay at Hotel Tartar
We stayed at Hotel Tartar and the experience was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout, which made us feel welcome from day one. Also, the location is very convenient, close to several points of interest and with easy access to transport. We would definitely recommend it and come back.
