Friendly staff, good size rooms, nice balcony overlooking the park. Shower was a little small, and the wifi was quite weak. Good location with a Metro stop right across the road, and a short walk down to the Bastille.

Great Location

Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations. Compared to my other experiences with 3 stat hotels, this one was far above others. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable and the bedding was nice and fluffy. The courtyard facing room was very quiet (try to reserve one). Pride of ownership is evident in the general repair and condition of the property. Neat decor too . The staff were very helpful. The breakfast buffet was exceptional . The room was a fair size for Paris. The lobby area was very quaint and cute. You could walk, rent a bike, grab a cab or take the train or busses that were only a few feet away. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Excellent location to explore the city

We liked the location a lot because it was close to all the metro lines We used the subway to easily get around the city. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was always clean and welcoming especially when we came back from a day of exploring the city.

French Charm and Atmosphere

I booked online via Expedia. Simple. I stayed with my husband for 2 nights.
Check In:
Check in was a bit delayed. Room wasn't ready at 3pm. The receptionist was apologetic. We left our bags to eat and returned. The rooms are very clean. Good quality mattress. The hotel is small size, so don't expect large rooms, it was compact, not tight, but not huge. That's how most of the buildings are designed.
Room: Nice balcony that provided a small space to sit and watch the world. The standard of the hotel is very good. They provide lovely extra bits to make the stay very comfortable. They are quick to respond to issues. Very friendly staff. I'm a Muslim Hijab wearing female, the media portray France as a Xenophobic/Islamophobic country; this is not true in my experience. The staff were kind, and polite and not snobby how i found in Morocco.
Location- Excellent. A local Turkish halal restaurant. Plenty of shops. Notre dam was a 30-40 min walk away, but i enjoyed it as i am a walker. Lots of cafes, and restaurants.
Breakfast - lovely kitchen staff. Polite. Nice break fast buffet with veg option, eggs, cereal, bread etc.
Wifi- good wifi even in rooms.
Check out was simple. We left our bags there for the day as we had a late flight. They stored our suitcases and we had space to spend in the lobby charging our phones until we had to catch a taxi.
A beautiful charming Bastille Hotel.
