Ruby June Inn was a wonderful place to stay while exploring White Salmon and Hood River. The grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was quality and delicious. The owners were very helpful in giving us suggestions on activities and places to eat!
We also really appreciated the warmth and friendliness of the owners. A perfect weekend get away!

Loved staying at this darling Inn and it was close to great food, hiking, and activities on the river. The owners are so graceful and accommodating and provide great beverage and breakfast options for the guests.

Just finished a five night stay. Chris and Gretchen are amazing hosts, very friendly, warm and helpful. it was quiet relaxing and a great base for exploring the Columbia Gorge. Breakfasts were good, the rooms comfortable. It felt peaceful and calm. Having the patio space to read and have a beverage of our choice added to the calm atmosphere. With our planning and Chris and Gretchen's recommendations it made for a memorable vacation.

Details, Details, Details

Wow, what a truly magical place! When my wife and I arrived on Friday evening, we were greeted by hosts Chris and Gretchen, and we knew instantly it was going to be a fantastic weekend to spend our 2nd Anniversary. The Inn is just so lovely- from the beautiful and super clean rooms, to the sprawling the wisteria growing over the patio, and the incredible attention to detail everywhere you look, or the freshly ground coffee and French presses in each room....just so many great details everywhere that have been thoroughly thought-through. Oh, and the breakfasts in the morning? Those are totally amazing as well...you get to choose between the fresh scones, the quiches, the fruit plates, the toast made from some of the best local bread, and the delicious greek yogurt and fresh blueberries that go on top. And more amazing coffee.
You also should know that I'm not much of a Bed and Breakfast fan, just due to the simple fact that you are usually stuck in a weird old Victorian house with squeaky beds, where everyone can hear everything going on, and then you are usually stuck having to talk with some usually quite odd Innkeepers....I'll say that the Ruby June is everything that those kinds of places are not! The hosts are really interesting, great conversationalists, they're fun, and most of all, they are passionate about what they do. They truly want every guest to have an incredible stay. My wife and I were completely enchanted by the whole experience. So, if you are lucky enough to find an opening in their busy schedule, I suggest you book it fast! You will not regret it.

Gretchen and Chris are amazing hosts! They are so friendly, full of information to share and suggestions for the area, and make you feel at home. Their property is beautiful and comfortable. My husband and I toured around Oregon for 10 days and this was my favorite stay!
