The property looks either new or newly renovated. We travelled with a dog. All the dog-friendly rooms are on the first floor with parking right in front, so that was convenient. There is a designed pet area around the parking lot, but the front desk told us there was a dog park near the property. Unfortunately the roads on either side of the hotel do not have sidewalks, so we had to walk along the shoulder to the next light, and then the sidewalks took us to the dog park. I did not feel unsafe doing so because the street behind the hotel has relatively less traffic, but still I wish there was a sidewalk. This is beyond the control of the hotel though.
The breakfast was nice, 3-4 hot items. The breakfast room itself is quite small, but seating area is decent. Overall I would stay here again, but I wish it was not so expensive.

Alex at the front desk was very nice and accommodating, the had a brought up the pack-&-play to our room prior to check in. The main lobby was clean. Pool area had a very clean restroom and towel to use. In the morning the staff was friendly and greeted us with smiles why stocking the breakfast area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is the cleanest I’ve ever been to. The staff are very nice & friendly. And best of all it’s Pet Friendly.
The only negative thing to me was the $40 a day pet fee. The last Holiday Inn Express I stayed at in Warwick, RI last week was only a $50 one time per stay fee which is more reasonable I would travel a lot more if the fee was lower. Other than that Holiday Inn express is my place to go to!! And the breakfast is out of this world. Although I don’t eat much in the morning.

this hotel was well kept and clean. It was very difficult to keep our room at a comfortable temperature. The A/C unit was not consistent.

You never know what you are getting into when you pick a spot. This place was 8+ on the reviews. I arrived there for my stay. I was surprised at the value of the price I received for a two night stay on Cape Cod in the summer. No, it's not beachfront, or next to a beach. Don't care about that. The harbor was seven minutes away and access to the Holiday Inn Express was very good, easy. Signs could have been a little closer to road for earlier visual cue, but not bad. Plenty of food around and 5 minutes from Barnstable Airport for anyone flying in. Yet, the place was quiet from any kind of noise.
I did not try the indoor pool, but looked well kept. Unfortunately, my schedule would not allow me to sample the breakfast. I did get to see it on my way out the door. No time to grab any, had to get to ferry to get to island. If it opened at 6 instead of 630 am, would have been more helpful for me and my schedule. The food selection looked excellent and appetizing.
I wouldn't hesitate to go here again, after this experience. If you have dogs, they do allow dogs. I didn't bring mine, to pay attention to requirements or rules for dogs.
