We have been dedicated customers for five years staying a couple of weeks out of most months but this last trip they lost us the weather report said 105-110 for two weeks and we do t have air conditioning so I rang Peter the manager told him were checking in for the air conditioning well go home when the temperature gets normal he said no problem we're always cool here we checked into room 106 the third day there it was going to be 107 in Buttonwillow they turned the air conditioning offfor five hours we confronted them they blamed the power company we rang the company they said it's a voluntary power saver program not for commercial buildings he pled ignorance the next day it was 105 they turned it off for five hours again two days later the temps were 102-105 they did it twice more
Now as for cleanliness we've been telling them for two years the carpet squares are so ingrained with filth if you walk bare foot your feet get black nothing has been done the water tap in the shower regularly shoots off and in one room they duct taped a hole in the bathtub and in our room the tub feels like it's giving way and the tv constantly freezes or flickering non stop we've asked nicely that they fix these things but nothing is ever done properly and the pool has green mould growing Peter and Ted we've spent thousands with you we've asked you time and time again and you did nothing so now we're taking our money down the road your loss

Check-in was easy. The hotel was almost empty. The man at the desk was very friendly. The beds were comfortable. There was a minimal amount of amenities - small packets of shampoo and soap. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom and shower were a bit old. I would probably not stay there again.

This is a nice older property. The rooms were clean and the staff were excellent. We had a small issue with the remote for the TV. The issue was handled right away.

The place is run down. Old phone cords visible in the room with no phone (not that I needed it), plastic wrapping on the AC cord that has obviously been still on there for years, dead bugs in the light fixtures….. the sheets were clean, the toilet flushed, the shower worked and it was affordable for one night (8 hours) as a halfway point for our drive.

This place is miserable, stay away. Dead roaches in room, smells awful, AC turns off every hour, busted locks, TV doesn’t work, etc. The whole town of buttonwillow is a little suspect.
