Nice hotel in Flensburg

This was our second stop on our road trip to Sweden. The hotel is on the outskirts of Flensburg and is located in a quiet road. Staff were friendly and could speak a bit of English. Lovely garden behind the hotel. Room was big and the beds comfy. The bathroom was huge with a double sink. In the evening when we arrived we were hungry and went across the road to a burger/pizza/kebab place that I can't remember the name of. They only take cash so I had to walk to the nearby shopping centre to take money out. On my return my food was served and cold. My six year old wanted a muddy meal which came in a box with a toy and a caprisun juice. But the juice was warm and when I pointed out to the man who was serving us he didn't seem concerned about it and wouldn't give a cold alternative. Don't go here! But do stay at the hotel, it's lovely.

Very very basic for €125!!!

A very basic , old fashioned B&B . I’ve stayed in basic B&B in Europe and had higher quality.
The whole place is in desperate need of an update.
The bathroom has what you need... but seriously needs a modern update. No mixer taps... The loo paper holder is an absolutely joke, functional but laughable. Oh I forgot to mention..a little trap too!
The is no desk to sit at in our room .
There is no fridge
No coffee and tea facilities
Very poor lighting.
There are net curtains covering the
windows and the curtains you pull together are so thin , the earliest morning light wakes you up.
One thing and it’s an absolutely must! New bedding.. I can’t stand lumpy old pillows...
As I say a whole update/ revamp needed.
This also includes re wiring and extra plug sockets...
I would very seriously book elsewhere for €125 .. you’ll get a far better standard.
Can we get 50% of what we paid refunded please ?

Ok for overnight stay

We spent one night here on the way to Denmark. The hotel was adequate, the room clean but basic. The young man made no attempt to help me take my suitcase upstairs although I was clearly struggling (no lift). There is no restaurant, but he recommended one and gave me instructions. He spoke so fast I had to ask him to slow down (my German is fluent and I don't normally have any problem) so he then spoke very slowly as if I was a moron. The best thing that night was that the recommended restaurant (Cevapcici) turned out to be first class.

Quite place, ok room

Just spent a night there while in transit and liked it. Room was ok and had what I needed. WiFi was fast and reliable and parking just outside the room door. For a short trip and this price you can’t complain.

Where is the fridge?

For an 150 euro a night (with breakfast) for 3 persons, this hotel in a absolute terrible shape. When we reserved this place via booking.com we didn't check if there was a fridge avaible in our room. It sure wasn't but you can make use of this awasome trouser press!!
When we asked the staff for recommedation for a dinner, they recommended us an empty restaurant, just a 100 meters away from half full No. 1 restaurant (in tripadvisor). Thank you but no thank you.
