A Truly Special Stay in Bodrum
We just spent 6 full days and 5 nights at The Bodrum EDITION with my wife, and it was truly one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. As Titanium Elite members, we requested Suite Night Awards and were fortunate to have that approved, receiving an incredible upgrade to a Loft Suite. We have stayed at some exceptional properties around the world, including Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Siari, St. Regis Mallorca, JW Marriott Masai Mara, Four Seasons Tamarindo, Four Seasons Sayan, and Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay, and I can honestly say The Bodrum EDITION was right up there with the very best, if not even better in some ways.
From start to finish, everything was outstanding. We arrived around 10 AM, and although our room was not ready until about 11 AM, the team immediately made us feel welcome by offering us complimentary breakfast and allowing us to use the gym while we waited. The gym is fully equipped with everything you need for a complete workout, and the spa is spectacular.
The service throughout the property was truly 10/10, whether at breakfast, by the beach, by the pool, or anywhere else on property. Every interaction felt warm, genuine, and polished. One detail that really stood out was that the team consistently remembered both my wife’s and my first names and addressed us by name throughout the stay. That kind of personal touch made the experience feel even more special.
The property itself is spectacular. The views are breathtaking, and every corner of the hotel feels picturesque. Breakfast was excellent, and the beachside food was great. I highly recommend the basic burger and fries from Zula while at the beach. The silky crunch ice cream is also an absolute must-try. Our dinner at Kitchen was incredible as well. We did the set menu, and every dish was a 9/10 or 10/10. Special shoutouts to the tuna tartare and the incredible desserts.
One thing that meant a lot was how the hotel cared for me when I unfortunately became ill during the stay. The team went above and beyond, including having an on-site nurse come to our room at 2 AM to assess me and provide a clear plan. That level of care and attentiveness was truly remarkable.
I also want to give special recognition to the incredible team at The Bodrum EDITION, especially Dinara from reception, Fatih and Guillerme from the beach area, Kai from Kitchen, who was wonderful and joyful every time we saw her, Aaron at breakfast and beachside, and Turkman from breakfast. Everyone we encountered was exceptional, but these team members truly deserve a special shoutout. Please forgive me for any name spelling errors.
The concierge team was also outstanding. Weeks before our arrival, they were incredibly helpful over email in assisting us with restaurant and beach club reservations throughout Bodrum. They made the planning process seamless and helped us secure every reservation we were hoping for, which made the entire trip feel easy from the start.
If you have several nights to spend in Bodrum and are looking for a relaxing, luxurious vacation, this is absolutely the place to be. It is also conveniently located just a short drive, around 10 minutes, from Yalıkavak Marina.
We are genuinely sad to leave, but we cannot wait to come back. The Bodrum EDITION is a very special place.

Great service. Not loyal to Marriott bonvoy guests.
I came here because of lots of nicest reviews. Hotel is pricey and I expected a lot. My stay is short and I have requested several times for the upgrade as an Marriott ambassador elite member but I haven’t received a suite. In most hotels ambassadors get suites even without asking here it’s a short stay (1 night only), I requested several times, I also used my “Nightly upgrade awards” and it wasn’t confirmed. I could see lots of suites available for my night but hotel told me “suites are not available”. Okay, they provided me a specious room with nice view, not a suite but really thanks. I asked if I may get late check out at 6pm tomorrow because I arrived a bit late and I have 4pm late check out without requests but they only let me stay until 4pm (not 6 pm as requested before). So loyalty to Marriott bonvoy guests is not nice here (it’s like that for ambassadors, guess how it is for lower levels). I got the bottle of red wine as a welcome amenities. The bottle was 2009, what’s quite rare for hotels, edition bodrum was much better than any other hotels of my experience, but again I was trying to pull the cork out and it was crushed inside the bottle. I don’t know why maybe it was my mistake but I haven’t been facing something like that for years. I sent the message with the picture. I got a new bottle but it was a different bottle with different brand. I am sure hotel with such level like edition bodrum couldn’t bring another type of bottle (worse than the previous one). Not a nice gesture at all.
What I really liked:
1. Daha, Turkish restaurant, it’s absolutely amazing. Food was out of explanation, just delicious. I’ve never tried so nice food like that. Really recommend to visit this restaurant and enjoy best food ever. Service was really nice but far from perfect. They forgot about my coffee order, team of waiters didn’t pay much attention to my table.
2. Hotel is quiet, luxury vibe is here, perfect condition of rooms and any other areas inside and outside of the hotel.
3. Gym is really well equipped. Perfect.
4. Easy to communicate with the team via what’s app. They reply quickly.
5. All the staff are well trained. Service is really high. All employees take care of guests. Great job from hotel managers for the nice team here.
6. They provide ice cream once you arrive as a hotel’s welcome. Honestly it’s the first time I’ve seen this. Incredible idea.
What I really liked:
1. Daha, Turkish restaurant, it’s absolutely amazing. Food was out of explanation, just delicious. I’ve never tried so nice food like that. Really recommend to visit this restaurant and enjoy best food ever. Service was really nice but far from perfect. We were therefore surprised that the selection did not meet your expectations. At the same time, we understand that when a bottle needs to be replaced, receiving a different label may not feel like the most thoughtful gesture, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
On a much brighter note, we are absolutely delighted that you enjoyed Daha and found the food exceptional, as well as the gym, the peaceful luxury of the resort, our WhatsApp communication, and most importantly, the warmth and professionalism of our team. Your kind recognition of our colleagues and management team means a great deal to us. Best of Bodrum
Fantastic experience. We stayed at The Edition for 3 nights at the tail end of our Turkey trip. Wished we were there longer.
1 - the property is impeccable. The views are gorgeous. The landscape is stunning and the property landscaping is well done.
2- the entire staff is amazing. We were always well taken care of.
3- all of the meals are great. The Italian was surprisingly good. The raw tuna at Unami was my least favorite
4- pool, beach + water sports - all great.
5- wake up and don’t skip the breakfast.

It's terrible, they ruined our vacation
Far Below the Standard Expected From a Luxury Hotel
I stayed at The Bodrum EDITION together with my friend, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing.
During our stay, my friend’s Audemars Piguet watch went missing. I personally witnessed how stressful the situation became and how it was handled. The matter was reported to the hotel and subsequently to the police, but the watch has still not been found.
We were moved to another room the following morning, where we then experienced a water leak from the ceiling. Hotel staff carried out repair work late into the night, until around 3 a.m., making it extremely difficult for us to rest.
What disappointed me most was the overall response and lack of care during such a stressful situation. As a guest of a five-star luxury hotel, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, empathy and attention.
Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling neither comfortable nor properly cared for as a guest.
