What a gem!

What a gem! Martlets is a wonderful place to stay. Jill, and of course Jonty and Jess, are fabulous. Jill is a lovely host and is very knowledgeable about places to visit. She also provides a great breakfast! Everywhere is clean and tidy and the views are amazing, especially the donkeys and alpacas. Would highly recommend.

Awesome

On the edge of Shanklin , this is a lovely quiet place to be.
The house is immaculate.
Letting out just 2 rooms adds to the personal attention you get by the lovely Gill.
Breakfast freshly made and delicious , kept us going all day!
Couldn’t fault anything.
Would highly recommend!

A superb B&B!

A beautiful, elegant, super clean double room with ensuite close to Shanklin Old Village. Jill couldn't have been a more helpful and welcoming host. The room was airy with a fantastic view over the garden and downs. There were lovely touches such as fresh milk in the fridge and great quality cookies, replenished daily. The bathroom was particularly stylish with a large bath and separate walk in shower.

Perfect in everyway

What a wonderful place to stay on the island, Jill is an amazing host, nothing is to much trouble, the room was spotless, lovely furniture and great facilities, breakfast was first class, lots to choose from, and Jill catered for our every need.. Parking was excellent, location delightful right in the heart of nature.. So views were gorgeous..
The icing on the cake were Jill's little helpers Jonty & Jess, a couple of little angels..
Thankyou Jill, jonty & jess for looking after us, and you are no.1 choice for a holiday stay on the island for us from now on...

Home from home

Tranquil place to stay in a quiet location but walking distance to Shanklin town and beach., Enjoyed a relaxing week at Martlets. Fabulous breakfast choices and lovely room. Thank you Jill, Jonty and Jess for making our holiday one to remember.
