The village, the views and the food. All perfect.

I believe that this experience should be valued in four different aspects and all four deserve five stars. The first is the situation of Tresviso, a Cantabrian village hidden among the Picos de Europa, whose name says it all (trans visum = behind the abyss); the second is the magnificent terrace with beautiful views where this restaurant is located, the third the friendliness of the staff, and the fourth - and it is where we are going - its kitchen. The croquettes, some of them jerky and some of them cheese, very rich, were made with a soft flavor and perfect texture; the corncakes, typical of the Picos de Europa, forceful and, at the same time, delicate as the best cuisine of author; as for the cachopo, which is served for two people, it is more than enough in terms of quantity and very much in quality; it was magnificent the jerky contained, and the slices of cheese Cerréu that they put on top, slightly molten, gave a powerful touch, but without losing any of its exquisiteness. And finally, we have a dessert that I can't help but advise: Cheesecake. This cheesecake is soft and sweet, with just the right cheese tones to feel it on the palate as the perfect end of a good meal, but what is most surprising is the very light touch of Tresviso cheese that is detected, whose salty taste comes into perfect balance with the sweet of the cake, turning this dessert into something extraordinary.
It has been quite a success to choose the Tavern of Tresviso to eat in the Picos de Europa.

Fatal, nasty

We ordered some canes with the intention of eating afterwards, but as he put the canes on us, the waiter told me that he had to pay for the consumption even if we ate afterwards.
When I asked him to eat, and in an unkind tone he told me, I have to take 15 commands, and then 4 and then 2 and then I take care of them, and they pay when they ask and wait.
Pretty nasty, but it's a shame there was no other place open.
Regardless, and the excursion to Tresviso a wonder

I will never repeat

I've known this restaurant for years, and always well. This time, deplorable there was a change of direction, the owner I have nothing to say but the lady I attend to made it terrible was wrong in the 2 dishes we ordered and never acknowledged his mistake. Never seen. A shame.

Lamentamos mucho su comentario, protegido por el anonimato. Así como expone su argumento, que fuera aclarado en la barra y donde expresó su satisfacción con los platos consumidos, nos obliga a recordarle que luego de su selección, se le.repitió en voz alta la selección y Uds asintieron. No es nuestra culpa que no sepa diferenciar los nombres de los platos o que lo.exprese de forma incorrecta. Para sus experiencias en otros establecimientos, recuerde indicar el nombre de los platos como.figuran en el.menu y escuchando y prestando atencion cuando se le pida confirmación. Por otra parte lamentamos nuevamente que a pesar de lo manifestado personalmente, se ampare en el anonimato para una descalificacion que no merecemos, lo cual manifiesta una actitud personal muy desafortunada.

All wrong

It's hard to find a place with such a shabby, ill-mannered manager. The ridiculous, bad, expensive rations. Pretty dirty, famical dogs coming to ask you at tables. Too bad, the village is nice and there are more places to go, which in the case of repeating will be what we do...

Great mountain lodge

Fabulous place. Beware of the long drive up.
We were clouded in so no view. But great hosts. Ciano uses Google translate very well. Breakfast was good... local peppers and eggs
Clean and tidy.
Walk the village as well.
