We are located in the heart of the Natural Park Cabo de Gata-Nijar, in the picturesque town of San Jose in the center of the promenade and beachfront, just 50 meters from the marina, surrounded by residential, commercial and leisure area.

Fantastic fully refurbished hotel on the beach with amazing views

Ignore any reviews before June 2026. This hotel has had a total refurbishment and very modern and the bedrooms are amazing with everything you could wish for. Walk in shower with rain shower and normal. Comfortable large beds, USB socket, kettle and teas and coffee, air con and ceiling fan, great lighting with dimmers, mini fridge, comfortable balcony seating with sea, pool and mountain view. Great friendly and very welcoming staff. The new sky bar on the roof is fantastic with great views of the beach and mountains and not stupid prices. We will return and have told our friends about it.

Cozy and good location

Cozy room. The cleanliness could improve. Very good location, beachfront. Pool area not very well achieved, not very intimate and open to people from outside the hotel. Small pool. Delicious and varied breakfast. Hotel staff friendly and attentive.

Hotel not up to 4 stars

This hotel is ideally located, on the waterfront, and in the center of the city of SAN JOSE. There is a free safe in the room. There is a closed paid parking.
The Welcoming staff is available and welcoming.
However:
But it does not live up to a 4-star establishment.
The taps are old, and the closet doors close badly.
Breakfast is not up to the standard of a 4-star establishment. The breakfast staff is also not up to the standard of a 4-star establishment. When the tables open, the staff do not clean the table immediately, and do not prepare it for future customers. They expect customers to do it for them, or ask them to.
I had asked in my reservation for a room with a large double bed. They gave us a room with 2 single beds, separated by a pillar. We immediately claimed at the Welcoming, and we had a room with a double bed. So it was possible.

San Jose.Almeria

Hotel very well located on the beachfront in San Jose.
Very good breakfast.
Very enjoyable pool.
San Jose beach is very nice. sand and very clear water.
The hotel is on the small promenade of the village (3 or 4 blocks , where are the bars , restaurants and ice cream parlors.The port is also very close.
We were able to park on the street without a problem.

We were expecting a four star and we were in a boarding house

Four-star hotel with three to spare. Breakfast, pitiful buffet, dilapidated facilities, the only positive, the staff are nice and close to the beach
