Good rooms!

Excellent for the price. We were SO happy to have warm showers with good water pressure and a big room that three of us shared. Dinner was salmon and veggies and it was really good. We enjoyed our stay. There wasn’t anywhere to hang our clothes to dry which was too bad since it caters to Camino walkers.

For the price, this should be much better

It's a shame, because my single room was near-ideal: small-ish, but attractive with a sensible layout, good firm bed, good bathroom, and spotlessly clean. However...though the sticker on the window where you check-in indicates that they do, they do NOT, in fact, accept American Express. All of the staff appear to be students or amateurs--which would be fine if the rate were a quarter of what it was. And there is not nearly enough soundproofing, which became evident when the symphony of door-slamming began around 7:30 a.m. But worst of all was the member of the cleaning staff the simply entered my room unbidden at around 9:30 a.m. while I was sleeping--or at least trying to. There really are ways of checking these things ahead of time without simply barging in. But then again, these are people that put my friend's belongings out in the hallway when she had not vacated her room 10 minutes before check-out time. Other options in Roncesvalles have got to be better than this.

Not really recommended

Menu del dia only inside restaurant. No dogs inside, that is. Outdoor food to order at table at door. Waiter does not come when you call from your perch on terrace. Bring everything to your table yourself.
Hamburger not really tasty, handful of fries. Only fork, no napkin. Could be better

A good pilgrims hotel on the Camino

Very much a pilgrims hotels with a warm welcome after a long day's walk. Decent sized standard rooms some with a good view over fields and the start of the next day's walk. Wholesome dinner and breakfast included in our rate. All fairly institutional, but warm and more than adequate for what it is. I would recommend it for a stop on the Camino.

Normal.

Night Msnu of 17 euros.
This time we ordered ham and beef steak for sure without more much q wanted to rename it with veal from Navarra . Beef steak without more.
Drink a jug of water I guess was from the tap.
Little to choose from in such a sought-after location
