Good experience.

We have stayed 3 nights in this pleasant rural hotel. They treated us phenomenally upon arrival, they recommended restaurants for dinner in the area. Good recommendations, by the way. The nearby beaches are amazing. Laurie's story is very cool. Their dog is beautiful and adorable. The room is okay.... . See you soon.

A Charming and Very Welcoming Stay

We stayed at La Joyuca del Pas yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Laurie gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The property is full of charm, cosy, comfortable, and set in a lovely peaceful location just outside Santander. We were also delighted by how dog-friendly it is, which made travelling with our dog completely stress-free.
Breakfast was excellent, with fresh eggs, fruit, and a great selection of quality food. It was the perfect start to the day.
If you’re looking for a welcoming, characterful place to stay with genuine hospitality, I would highly recommend La Joyuca del Pas. We would happily return.

A gem of a find

A drop in temperature and persistent rain meant camping completely lost its appeal, and with a ferry to catch the hunt for a non city based hotel began.
This was an absolute find - tucked about a mile from the main road, we were instantly made to feel completely at home. We opted for the delux double at the front of the hotel assuring a peaceful nights sleep. The decor is gorgeous , rustic and original- and with a beautiful room, whirlpool bath and a balcony we felt very spoilt.
We enjoyed a very filling grill at the restaurant just a short stroll from the hotel. Parking was ample and breakfast a lovely buffet with eggs cooked to order if we wanted.
An extremely short drive from the ferry terminal at Santander meant we could follow Laurie the proprietor’s local recommendations for scenic coastal locations on our route- also highly recommended.
Laurie, Eva and of course the charming Bo made for a most enjoyable stay. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

Lovely Pet Friendly Hotel in a Great Location for Santander

Great location local to Santander and for the ferry to the UK. Laurie the owner was extremely welcoming and our travelling dog Freya was made to feel most welcome... walks for the dog are extremely close and safe.... and the traditional local restaurant is only 100mtrs away... Great Breakfast safe private parking and a lovely garden to relax in.... Thank you Laurie...
