Over priced for what it was.
We arrived in the late afternoon, and the apartment was tidy and appeared clean. However, the floors didn’t seem to have been cleaned thoroughly, as our feet became dirty almost immediately, so we ended up wearing sandals indoors.
There were a few maintenance issues that could do with attention. The key for Room E needs replacing because the door doesn’t lock properly, and the kitchen socket has a loose plastic cover that keeps falling off. The showers were also quite temperamental, constantly switching between hot and cold, and would benefit from an upgrade.
The beds were soft and comfortable, although the pillows were quite firm.
The kitchen was very basic. There was no cooking oil or complimentary drinking water in the fridge, and there wasn’t much cooking equipment available. There were plenty of knives, but most of them were blunt, making food preparation difficult.
Unfortunately, on our first night the electricity tripped, which meant the fridge stopped working and some of our food spoiled. We were told it was caused by a circuit overload, although we found that difficult to believe based on what we were using at the time.
There were quite a few small inconveniences throughout our stay. Individually they weren’t major issues, but together they made the apartment feel overpriced for what was provided.
An iron was available, but it wasn’t kept in the apartment. We had to request it, and someone with a key had to unlock the storage area each time, which wasn’t very convenient.
Basic toiletries, including hand wash and shower gel, were provided, which was appreciated.
On a positive note, our host, Si, was very responsive and always did their best to help whenever we had a question or issue. They also gave us helpful recommendations for halal restaurants, bus routes, and local attractions.
We also met the cleaners on our first day. They were very friendly and kind, although they didn’t speak any English, which made communication quite difficult.
Overall, while the host’s helpfulness was appreciated, the number of maintenance issues and minor inconveniences meant the apartment didn’t offer the value we expected for the price we paid.

Reservation cancelled without reason
If the length of stay did not suit them, a minimum stay should have been required. The rate wasn’t very cheap though., but for a room overlooking the Alhambra I had accepted the premium.

Great location, but the room description is misleading
Disliked · The room facilities description is wrong for the budget double room I booked. No sofa, no coffee/tea maker or facility in the room, and no desk. The TV didn't work - no signal error. The kitchen had a gas stove and no lighter/matches to turn it on. No kettle to make tea/coffee. Probably wouldn't stay again as there are so many other affordable places to stay in Granada.
