A choice of the most successful

I can only say kindness to this place. Laura and Modesto are lovely, travel with a group to enjoy a few days hiking in the Ribeira Sacra and this was one of the best accommodations I chose. All clean and perfect rooms with stunning views of the Castle, very friendly staff and exquisite food (to my taste too spicy, but it may be because I don't love it) all out of 10. Plus they helped us in everything we asked for is a lovely marriage. I'll repeat. 100% recommended

Homemade, well, well eaten. Well taken care of.

No reservation. Sunday. We arrived at 15.00. We had to wait. Normal. We saw dishes coming out and they looked good. The menu did not show the price anywhere and we did not ask. We didn't think it was necessary. We sat down and the remaining dishes had dwindled enough. We were told and picked out what was there. In my case: asparagus and meat with paprika and grelos (a recipe that I had never tried and I wanted to sink my tooth into: sure hit!! The rest in line for good homemade food, friendly and fast Service. Desserts of "the old school" pineapple in syrup, peach in syrup, pie contesa, fruit.... but all very good!!! Like yesteryear. Don’t let anyone look for fusions, or elaborate recipes: there is what is always cooked.. period!!!. I really liked it and, I know that, the rest of the group also liked it a lot. When we went to pay (20 euros per beard) we had been discounted the drinks we drank while waiting for lunch and it is a detail that we all appreciated and commented. Very comfortable with everything. Recommended.

Wonderful local gem!

We chanced on this family-run restaurant, after seeing tables up a side alley. We had a fantastic home-cooked type of meal, based on available ingredients, with padron-made local wine. What could be better!

Homemade, fresh and well cooked food

We stopped for lunch, it was a fair day and without reservation.
I'll get us a table ready in no time.
We ate luxury, very good quality.
Meat or caldeiro, very juicy soft and rich.
We are from the Galician coast and we were pleasantly surprised.
Normal price.
The owners' attention very good.
We will definitely come back when we are in the area

Good accommodation.

The only catch is how old the furniture looks like Grandma's room. Very clean everything, right breakfast and spectacular staff informs you of all the surroundings we will what an excellent and good location throughout the town center a step away from everything.
