Dette charmerende, nyrestaurerede hotel stammer fra 1924. Det har en terrasse med fantastisk udsigt over Empordà og den smukke Roses-bugt. Den udendørs swimmingpool ligger i det tidligere Sant Agustí Kloster, blot 100 m fra hotellet.

Fab family stay
Our 2nd stay at this absolute gem of a place! As others have said, the parking can be a little haphazard and tight but we’ve been lucky both times being able to park with ease. The hotel & room was absolutely spotless. The staff are fabulous & so friendly and very accommodating with our disabled daughter. Having access to the tranquil pool is such a bonus. We explored the town a little more this year & stumbled upon the medieval museum which was fascinating - you even get to experience the old jail cells which were still in use up until the Spanish Civil war , a real bargain at 1€ per person entrance! We actually ended up having all our meals in the restaurant & could not fault the food, service and atmosphere. Breakfast on the roof terrace is a real treat too.

Parking
I am very, very disappointed with the parking!!!!!
You have to go with a Mini Cooper and not a bus.
If you park and then leave, forget it; cars park badly, not far enough back.
Secondly, why isn't a room equal to a number???
And otherwise you have to find a spot at the bottom of the hotel, which means a fifty-fifty chance of finding one near the school, and walking back up for 15 minutes.
Very disappointed, the rest is okay.

A treasure in the middle of the Costa Brava
We spent 10 days at Jaume's house and it was like being in our own.
They had the thoughtful gesture of assigning us an apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a living room, but with all the services of a hotel (cleaning every other day, towel changes...).
Very comfortable, spacious, and practically new.
There are 4 of us, my husband and my two children.
So the apartment was perfect.
We were on half board.
Breakfast is served on the terrace, with wonderful views of the great basilica.
Super complete buffet.
And then they allowed us to choose between lunch or dinner, with prior notice. Whatever worked best for us each day.
The homemade cooking, the spectacular stews, and the dining room staff are a 10.
Kindness, smiles. Charming.
It has a beautiful pool, in a unique setting, which is wonderful.
We loved it.
We will return and we will recommend it.
The town is small but very lively, and it serves as a headquarters for getting around to the surrounding towns.
The closest beach (10 minutes by car) is Ampuriabrava.
A huge beach, clean sand, clear water, calm and with plenty of parking.
This summer we made the perfect choice.

Yeah, good!
A really warm Welcoming in French!
The whole team at both the hotel and the restaurant was adorable during our 3 days with my daughters.
The room was really top and clean. We have never been disturbed by noise.
Admittedly, the orange juice of breakfast is not great but the rest is good and varied. There is something for everyone. And being able to take it on the roof terrace of the hotel with views is just the best way to start the day.
The swimming pool is 100m from the hotel. It is not common but the setting is also worth it. In the heart of a former convent , the place is just soothing . It is never too crowded and everyone respects each other.
The restaurant is also excellent. Value for money really very well with fresh produce.

Wonderful family run hotel
Wonderful small family run hotel in Castello D’Empuries. We stayed here 2 nights as part of a hiking trip. The room was clean and the breakfast was tasty. The restaurant was the highlight. 3 course dinner with water and wine included for €23! It was such great value and the portions were big. Come hungry! The olive oil, wine, and all the ingredients were extremely high quality. We loved the old charm of the Medieval city and this lovely hotel.
