An unforgettable experience
There are places that offer accommodation, and there are places that make you feel good from the very first moment. For us, La Estació clearly belongs to the second group.
We were looking for a charming hotel, surrounded by nature, quiet, and without artifice. We were struck by its location, its human scale, and those small details that seem insignificant but say a lot, like continuing to use keys instead of cards. What we did not imagine was that it would end up becoming one of the best experiences we have had in a hotel.
As soon as we arrived, the surroundings invite you to slow down. The pines, the silence, the car parked in the shade by the entrance... everything conveys calm. And then Catalina appeared to complete that first impression. She welcomed us with a sincere smile, one of those that cannot be taught in any customer service course. She made us feel like guests rather than just patrons, as if we were arriving at a beloved home instead of a hotel.
We were celebrating our anniversary, and although we made the reservation practically at the last minute, they had the courtesy to prepare the room with the beds together. A simple gesture that shows attention and affection for the people staying there.
The room was exactly what one expects to find when seeking rest: impeccably clean, warm, cozy, and quiet. From the window, there was a beautiful courtyard that seemed frozen in time, adding even more to the sense of tranquility.
The dinner was an experience in itself. Catalina mentioned that she likes to surprise guests and turn the meal into a small journey. She first ensured that there was nothing we disliked, and from there, she brought the dishes one by one. Each proposal surpassed the previous one. Excellent product, carefully crafted dishes, balanced flavors, and impeccable presentation. But beyond the culinary quality, what truly made the difference was the atmosphere. The dining room exudes warmth and serenity, and it is evident that the team works with professionalism, but also with enthusiasm. Seeing people smile while doing their work is something increasingly rare and, precisely for that reason, so valuable.
The garden and the pool are another of those corners that invite you to stay. Although the temperature was not typical of summer and the water was cool, we took a dip that left us completely refreshed. Surrounded by trees, grass, and small terraces, we felt as if we were enjoying the garden of a large country house rather than the facilities of a hotel.
And breakfast arrived. Homemade, abundant, made with care and with quality products. Good coffee, good ingredients, and the same feeling that accompanied us throughout our stay: here, things are done with affection.
Sometimes a hotel stands out for its facilities, other times for its location. La Estació stands out for something more difficult to achieve: making those who arrive feel good. We left feeling rested, happy, and with the sense of having discovered a special place.
And that, nowadays, is worth much more than any luxury.

Security of personal data of customers.
Upon check-in we were asked for IDs and when we saw that they were being photocopied we asked him why he was doing it. They told us they were doing it because the civil guard asked them to. It is not true that the Civil Guard asks for photocopies of clients’ IDs. They make them for your own convenience. Your obligation is to take the necessary data and return the document to the client. What's the matter? We all know that today with the photocopying of the ID you can impersonate another person on the Internet to the detriment of this and that is why hotels are not allowed to photocopy or scan the IDs of their customers. Hopefully, they will stop these practices that put the interests and safety of their customers at risk. Thank you.

Very friendly owner, offering all support and services. Lovely clean swimming pool. Nice diner and breakfast, which was even offered before the normal opening hours.

He's exceeded all expectations.
It is a very cozy, quiet, clean hotel, very good location and great treatment of the staff. The restaurant food very good, quality, very good cuisine and service. It has gardens around perfect for walking, a very nice village and a hotel up to scratch.
