La Digue is a must go place in your life

Great location, just a 5-minute walk to the ferry terminal. The space is clean and comfortable with plenty of restaurants nearby. Please note the room is compact. If you wish to cook, you will need to borrow kitchen access from the host.

Nice family vacation, though the ending was a bit bittersweet.

The island is stunning, and we had a great time with the two little girls in the family chalet at Kot Babi (the decor and bathroom were dated and basic, but that was not a problem for us). The owner was very kind, and the location was very convenient, close to the port and just a few minutes by bike from Anse Severe. For this reason, I am still sorry to have to report a truly unpleasant incident that happened to us. The day before our departure, some items we had left on one of the two beds in nylon bags disappeared from the chalet before we left for the beach. It was spare clothing, specifically: two UV protection t-shirts (one of mine and the other of my husband's), two of my swimsuits and one of the little girl's, a Buff bandana, and a pair of shorts. Unfortunately, the most valuable item was my husband's headlamp (one of those that illuminates up to 150 m; it was our fault for not putting it safely back in the suitcase instead of leaving it on the bed or nightstand). We realized that all these items were missing only in the evening while repacking for the next day's departure. I do not want to accuse anyone, but it is obvious that these items could not have just vanished on their own and all together in the same day. The owners say they checked the cameras and also the accommodations of their employees. There were also other clothes around the room, and every night the beachwear was left hanging on the chalet patio to dry, so I do not know what criteria the thief used to choose what to take. The fact is that these items were there in the morning, and by the evening of our return, they had disappeared. I therefore advise everyone to be very careful about what you leave lying around the room (suitcases, wardrobe, and safe were not touched).

We had a wonderful stay at this property in La Digue. The location is excellent, very convenient and close to everything you need while still offering a peaceful atmosphere.
The hotel is especially great for families. It felt safe, comfortable, and well-suited for traveling with children.
What truly stood out was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, a very pleasant experience and definitely recommended for anyone visiting La Digue.

Very nice

We really enjoyed our stay. The landlord and staff were very friendly, and we felt very comfortable. We were greeted with a cold drink upon check-in, and the apartment was decorated with flowers. There were takeaways, supermarkets, and a beautiful beach just around the corner. If we ever return to La Digue, we would definitely stay there again.
