Glorious Stay near Cadaval Portugal

We traveled to Portugal for a friend's wedding outside of Lisbon and wanted to stay somewhere with some character of it's own. Casa Da Eira was that special place. The decor is reminiscent of a big game resort and the gentle evening breezes reminded me of sweet time spent in the Serengeti. The owners, Clara and Nuno, are absolutely meticulous in their care of the property and their guests. They went out of their way to help us with a driver to the wedding venue, tips on nearby places to visit (we chose Castelo de O'bedos), and nearby places to eat lunch with the locals. We spent hours relaxing by the crystal clear waters of the pool with an amazing view of the surrounding countryside, vineyards, and mountains. Breakfast was included with our stay and we were treated to fresh fruits, many of them from their own orchards, homemade jams, and special breakfast treats each day. It was a delightful change of pace and it's perfect for those looking for a soul refreshing stay.

Perfect base with stunning views!

3 days we stayed here during our visit to the area
First 2 days Lisbon and then to friends here in the area
Perfect base to make all kinds of trips (Obidos, Nazaré and many beautiful beaches)
From the guesthouse you can make beautiful walks
The view is stunning, Super nice pool and breakfast is fantastic
In short, highly recommended!

Lovely stay in Quebec

Very nice stay with beautiful rooms and a lovely pool. But above all, the owners are very sympathetic and committed. Hostess Clara will do everything to make the stay unforgettable. We have felt very much at home here.

Warm, breathtaking views and neat accommodation

Beautiful accommodation. Swimming pool with breathtaking views. Nice spacious rooms. For cleanliness a 10plus. A fairly spacious breakfast. Warm hostess and host. Highly recommended who wants to explore the countryside north of Lisbon (wine region)
