Very idyllic hotel with great view

This historic hotel is actually a monastery in the old days. They only have 21 room so just feel more private and the service was so nice, mostly they speak Polnisch and Deutsch as this city is on the border of Germany. We took two room in the view to the old church and city of Cedynia it was perfect choice as the sunset just show up in our window. The room is spacious also the bath room is great. We more feel sleeping in a castle than in monastery:) . In spring we can see the raps field on the far away with golden yellow on sunset while taking a bath or just having beer in their garden. The restaurant is very good, as spring is the season of asparagus so we just order asparagus in bread crumbs sauce with salmon and potatoes. It was nice but i am not so fans of bread crumbs in butter sauce just feel weird in my tongue anyway the service was nice. Just bit annoying is the breakfast only serve after 8 am to 10 am, for a morning people who want to explore the city with a bike etc just to late because they can not offer us even morning coffee at 7 am :( . The location is good its quiet hof even in the surrounding of high houses where people living. So choose a room to old church view is the best.

Hotel Ok - stay away from restaurant

The hotel as such is OK, but the restaurant is a disaster. There is NO service at all. You must go to the reception yourself if you want to eat more. Apparently, they believe that they are still communists or what else is going on in their heads.

Terrible experience.

Appearances are deceiving. On the pictures it may look like a nice hotel, but in reality it was our worse experience we have ever had. The room we rented was very small and dirty, everything was broken or full of dust. The minibar was switched off and mouldy, windows in the room were broken and would not open. The staff was arogant and not helping. For everything you need they charge you extra fee. Do not recommend.

an ancient cloister turned into a hotel - quite good

the ruined building have been renovated. Quite well actually. The ambiente is good.
the rooms are a bit austere, like in a clouister. that is ok.
the rooms are large, so are the bathrooms.
the dinner outside in the garden was great.

Gorgeous setting

A beautifully converted monastery which is now an elegant and peaceful hotel atop the pretty village of Cedynia.
Lovely rooms with terrific views. Great weather meant we ate outside in the garden: food and service were fantastic.
The hotel was unbelievably quiet for a place that gives brilliant value for money. I hope it becomes more popular and that more people can enjoy it .... we would go back in a flash.
