A perfect resting place on the move

When in Alta :-)

The perfect place to stop and rest if passing trough or to take a couple of days in Alta…
Kind and servicemindet crew, a fabulous breakfast, a perfect location in the Heart of Alta. Nice clean rooms and a cozy bar / resturant. Easy to park the car as well. This i can really recommand:-) my mom also got an upgrade and where so happy. See you again in august. Boaz is looking forward to a little bite of that breakfast again allready

Nope.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, and a convenient location. However, the overall experience was disappointing.
On my last night, the hotel hosted a company party in one of the conference rooms. The party lasted until 2:30 in the morning, and the music was so loud that I could clearly identify the songs from the fifth floor. I was kept awake until around 3:00, not only because of the music but also because many of the party guests were staying in the hotel and were walking through the hallways drunk and shouting.
The beds are single beds with separate duvets, and the spring mattresses felt like trampolines. The bathroom was uncomfortably hot due to floor and wall heating—everything was warm, including the toilet seat, shampoo, and soap. The heating could not be properly turned off. I had the window open for six days, despite the cold weather, and the room still did not cool down.
Tip: if you’re visiting Alta, I recommend choosing a different hotel and renting a car. Public transport is a nightmare.

All right.

Had some problem with my order, and found that the reception was not very helpful. The room looked tired and we were kept awake through the night by heavy transportation on the parking lot. On the positive side the breakfast was very good!

Back Message

Check-in at 16:00. The room was open at 1:00 p.m., but had to pay 200 NOK to access the room. The system is too bad for guests who plan to stay at Scandic!
Carpet flooring causes poor air quality in the room, one of us got an allergy outbreak.

Central and good hotel

Good hotel and centrally located. Parking for around 150,- NOK. for evening/night. Free parking on the other side of the road after 20:00 Has electric car chargers but charges incredibly slow to powerful overpricing. Kople/Ishavsveien charges on p-place on the other side. The Scandic chain does not keep track of time and offers better/more charging spaces vs. number of guests with electric cars
