Great budget hotel in Maputo.

The hotel is located inside a busy part of the city. It stands out though, looks new, its clean and staff are helpful and friendly. The taxi drivers outside the hotel are helpful too. The food is tasty especially their grilled chicken, not a fan of chicken but theirs is good. Its also very quiet despite being inside the city.

Did a job

A recently opened new hotel the rooms were spacious with a excellent bathroom tv tea/coffee etc no bar with a coffee shop on the ground floor selling sandwiches and cakes but it’s in a poor part of town and very untidy on the streets that said it’s excellent value for money around £25.00 a night

Modern elegance

The room was very 21st century with all modern things from the lighting, door security and even bathroom. It was very neat and clean too and the wifi is amazing no need to be on the ground floor or reception. The food tasted amazing.

Recommended

We picked this hotel because of the reviews, and didn't get disappointed. We got a great room on the top floor - only the restaurant was higher than our room. The view was stunning. They did a good job helping us find places. As we didn't have a car, they helped us find reliable transportation. Staff was lovely, room was clean, breakfast was great, and everything worked well. The hotel is not in a touristy area, so the only reasonable option for dinner is the hotel restaurant, which turned out to be great. The first night we just got some buns on the first floor bar, which seemed a bit awkward since there were no other women there, just lots of men sitting around killing time. But once we discovered the restaurant upstairs, we went there every night.
Oh and another awkward thing about the hotel was that the owners who seemed to be Muslim Arabs, didnt' seem to treat the workers (locals) very well, and it bothered us a little bit.

Good stay in Maputo

Very comfortable hotel, good location, nice bathroom, good view over Maputo Bay. Excellent breakfast. Good coffee shop in the foyer. But there was no in-room coffee/tea facility and the hotel does not have a parking garage - you have to park on the sidewalk, 3-deep with other cars. If you are parked in you have to wait for hotel staff to find the guest(s) who have parked you in and get them to move their car(s). Very irritating.
