Very pleasant accommodation

The other reviews are unfair. This is a very pleasant place to stay, decent rooms, if a little on the small side, hot water in the shower, and a nice feel about the place.
It’s a 10-minute walk into town and there’s parking on site.
No breakfast unfortunately.
We were the only people staying so no bonking heard! But one of our group on the top floor complained that he could hear the water tank pump.

I’ve stayed here a few times because it’s an amazing place for a good price. Great staff, very clean, comfortable beds, beautiful areas outside to sit and relax.

One night hotel

Hotel Equinoccial is a pleasant choice for a short stay in Peña de Bernal, ideal if you are looking for tranquility and a clean place to rest for a night.
Positive points:
Very clean rooms and areas.
Nice and well maintained facilities.
Comfortable and quiet spaces, without outside noise.
Constant hot water.
They have basic beverage service (soft drinks, coffees) and Maruchan.
They have microwaves available, which is practical.
Negative points:
Very poor Internet, almost unusable.
It is far from downtown, so you need to move by car.
There are no coverings, only polar fabric blankets, insufficient in cold season.
Cold leaks, as metal doors do not seal well.
There is no restaurant.
You can easily hear the noise from the adjacent rooms.
Very old mattresses and uncomfortable pillows.
On terraces there are few tables and chairs if the group is large.
They do not have a hairdryer in the room (they lend it to reception).
There are no roofed communal areas to shelter from the cold.
The campfire is expensive: $350 for two people and $50 extra per person.
Conclusion:
It is a functional and clean hotel, recommended only for one night (maximum two). It is not ideal for long stays or large groups, especially in cold weather.
