Magical night in the desert

We stayed at Dar Mhamid at the end of December 2025 and then spent a night in the desert in the camp managed by Omar and his team. It was a wonderful and unforgettable experience! Everything was perfect. Impeccable accommodation, clean, lovely and very comfortable. The camp in the desert is located among the dunes, the landscape is breathtaking. We ate very well and enjoyed the live music of Omar and his companions.

Beautiful house

My family and I stayed here for several nights in October and had an absolutely amazing time. The house took care of everything for us.
The riad is beautiful, the staff very friendly and accommodating. The location is great to go to Mhamid.
We will stay here again in the future if we visit Mhamid again gladly

Super location

We have experienced 2 relaxing days in a friendly, very family environment. The room was large, clean and lovingly decorated, the food fantastic.

Impeccable as always

What to say! Everything is great, as always Omar✨ since 2016 I've been coming to your place, it's always perfect and you evolve every year ✨ really well done and thank you because it's always a pleasure to come to your place. Your camp is Erg Chegaga and really hidden in the middle of the dunes which really creates privacy, you feel good, the toilets are clean and the sleeping arrangements are good. You are great thank you thank you thank you and thank you again see you very soon Omar

very nice riad, great desert tour, very friendly staff, highly recommended

We received a very friendly welcome, the room was nicely decorated and very clean. The shower was great, there was really warm water and plenty of it.
We also booked our desert tour with Dar MHamid and were extremely happy with it. The desert camp on the highest dune in Morocco, Chigagga, was fantastic. Our desert team with the driver Hamza, cook and musician Youssef and supervisor Mustafa, looked after us very well. Even the journey there through the sand and gravel desert was an experience. The camp had style, the dune landscape around it is unique. The camel ride at sunset will stay in my memory forever. The food in the camp was varied, plentiful and good. In the evening we sat with the team by the fire, listening to Moroccan drum music.
Not to forget, the starry sky is incomparable.
The dune walk at sunrise rounded everything off.
This desert tour was the highlight of our 2-week trip to Morocco.
The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. I would definitely recommend the Riad Dar M'Hamid and especially the overnight desert tour. Visitors to M'Hamid, don't miss this!
