A wonderful stay
I cannot say enough good things about Riad Albatoul and the wonderful team that work there. We only booked our visit in January this year and the range of accommodation available in Marrakesh was overwhelming. But the previous reviews for this property stood out. And we were not disappointed. It is an absolute haven of peace and tranquility, just a few minutes from the absolute heart of Marrakesh. The room was spotless and super comfortable. Ahmad and his brother Mohsin are absolutely lovely. They are on hand to assist and give you advice on anything you are unsure about. The breakfast is gorgeous, fresh and filling - so lunch is often not needed. And the setting you eat in the perfect start to the day. They even arranged our airport transfer both directions. And whilst I do not doubt you can do this cheaper - the drivers were great and it took away all the hassle.
All of the main tourist attractions including the souk are within very easy walking distance. And there are plenty of lovely places to eat nearby.
I traveled with my teenage daughter and neither of us had done a trip like this before. I cannot recommend it enough.

Excellent service
An amazing place to stay, tucked down a tiny alley, close
to the souks.
The Riad is extremely clean and so peaceful, the rooms face a lovely courtyard. Plus there is a sun terrace on the roof.
The staff are just superb, so helpful and kind.
Breakfast and dinner were excellent value and very tasty.
The beds were comfy and the heating worked very well.
I can’t praise it highly enough. FANTASTIC!

Waiting for 2025...
A stay that I will remember with great pleasure spent in this Riad {kingdom of cleanliness, hospitality and attention to the customer}, in the heart of the Medina but in total relaxation as possible; a fantastic staff led by Mr.Ahmed excellent host, very kind and hospitable ready to meet every request .The room very nice and comfortable, with underfloor heating, tasted of clean smell.
Every morning in the air the scent of various types of freshly baked bread, great breakfast by the fireplace (given the season since the space is outdoors) both sweet , various jams with butter and honey , and salty, prepared by the ladies in the kitchen next door, olives , cheese , eggs , fruit and inevitable mint tea.
Ahmed's advice on visiting the city and how to move so as not to encounter obstacles was helpful.
An excellent hammam ritual -Moroccan Turkish bath that also includes an exfoliating treatment based on black soap rubbed on the body with a special glove and Argan Oil-
has certainly made this holiday unforgettable as the unique, magical city of Marrakech, to be respected for its contrasts, for its swarming traffic, for its scents, flavors and colors.
The famous African sickness❤️will remain in the mind

An unforgettable stay!
I have just returned from a 10-day stay at Riad Albatoul, located in the heart of the medina of Marrakech. Once through the front door, expect to discover an exceptional place that will not leave you indifferent. For my part, I felt a great need to rest and I was able to fully recharge my batteries. And what can we say about the kindness, professionalism and availability of Ahmed, Mouhssine and the ladies of the riad… Simply wonderful! An extraordinary welcome! They are always ready to help and advise you. Moroccan hospitality in all its splendor! The breakfast, for its part, was complete and varied. A pleasure for the taste buds! The roof terrace is just as pleasant for enjoying the sun and balmy evenings. Finally, the bedding was of high quality. I will most certainly return to Riad Albatoul during my next stay in Marrakech and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in this magnificent city.

Quaint Riad in great location
We stayed with 4 friends at Riad AlBatoul in January 2023. Our stay was wonderful. The host was super kind and gave us recommendations. Breakfast was amazing and delicious. Well located inside the Medina and not far from the main square and market. Taxis can’t get to the front door so be ready to walk a bit.
