Excellent

Clean tidy room, very quiet , superb location being five minutes from the beach and five minutes from Old Town and a supermarket literally round the corner. You get aircon in your room and a TV; there is a fridge, microwave, kettle and washing machine to use in the common area. Powerful shower. As it’s not a hotel as such you don’t get clean towels everyday or your room cleaned everyday , that’s the only difference to a hotel as far as I can see!

Decepcion

I asked to store my luggage (as in other hostels) and the hostel owner allowed me to leave her in the corridor of the hostel, usually a hostel has room to wait but as hers has not let it in the same corridor. (Until then it was a kindness). I was informed that I could not use anything else from the hostel, just pick up the bag and leave as soon as possible. As there was no one when I went to get my bags and I needed to use the bathroom, I waited for a guest to use it and after that I used it. The lady arrived after the use, which I used the same careful way as in the daily ones that I enjoy, and told me that I messed up and messed up the bathroom in a totally gross and stupid way. How to accuse someone without talking before? I apologized if I did something wrong, I would negotiate to a cleaning and she walked away letting me talk to myself. I have a considerable list of hostiles that I have stayed in and I have not been treated that way in any way. Normally a traveler asks to store their bags, but if you need to ask for anything after checking out or insist. Not even in the bathroom. In other hosts (those who travel knows this) they even let us use the guest room, or Wi-Fi, or a bathroom, this one does!

Perfect location for everything!

In a quiet side street but only 5 minutes walk to the harbour/marina. Passing restaurants, cafes, bakeries, markets etc. Could not find a better location. Diana is a lovely, chatty lady with a wealth of information for all that is available in Split. We enjoyed our long weekend immensely, and this little apartment was our 'home away from home'.

Very nice stay

My boyfriend and I stayed at Dianas for 4 nights, and we would recommend it to friends! Diana was so nice and welcoming, and made us feel at home from the beginning.
The location is near to the old city, but also very quiet at night. We will definitely come back again!

Small, neat and clean and very close to city centre.

We stayed at room Diana for a night only on our way back to UK before boarding the plane. The owner (Diana) was very helpful, caring and considerate. Our ferry to Split arrived late due to easing beyond our control. Diana told us not to worry and come at ease. She was waiting for us when we arrived at the room. She showed us the place around before she left. It was a small, neat and clean place with all basic amenities. As we had time till evening next day, Diana was happy for us to leave the luggage in the room, go shopping, collect baggage and handover keys before next guests arrived. Although €40 a night sounds a lot, it is not compared to price in other places around proximity to the promenade, ferry port, bus and train station ( all within 900meters)
