A NICE STAY BUT ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT

This small but chic apartment was very well located within just a 5 minute walk of the Old Town. There's a large car park just 5 minutes away to leave your car, and if you're staying over the weekend as we were, parking is free after 2pm on Saturday right through until 7am on Monday.
Our room was number 5 and it had a quaint little balcony where we ate breakfast each morning. It came equipped with a TV, kettle, small fridge, hairdryer and great AC. The shower had a little bit of mould at the bottom of it which should and needs to be cleared away. The shower had hot water at any time during our stay.
Due to the close proximity of the Old Town, the area is very built up and space is at a premium, the exact location isn't the nicest of areas and the outside area of the apartment wasn't to our liking either so we never used it.
Upon arrival we didn't know what to do so we called the owner and she gave us this information. I think it would be better if the owner sent this information prior to arriving. Also, as the owner doesn't live on site, we never ever saw her which I found a bit surprising as I thought she would of showed her face to welcome us at some point and make sure that everything was OK.

The Double Deluxe room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. These are rental rooms, not a hotel, so once you have keys you're on your own. There is a shared kitchen with an assortment of plates, cultlery and drinkware. Final location was down a small alley thst took a bit of searching and help from a neighbor. Delightful neighborhood close to the old town attractions. Would stay here on our next trip to Split.

Location was great and the room was clean. I'd like to stay at this hostel again when I come back Split someday.
