Wonderful stay in Watamu
We booked transfers via the hotel which were efficient, ready and waiting for us including refreshing towels and water.
We had booked a 2 bedroom ocean view suite but were kindly upgraded without realising and request to a 2 bedroom deluxe ocean view suite which was extremely spacious and wonderfully furnished with everything you could require. Beds and pillows very comfortable, everything in great condition. WiFi worked well in most parts of the resort. We also enjoyed the bright and airy colour schemes.
Several different swimming pools with salt water. Unfortunately the resort is affected by seaweed at this time of year so the beach was effectively unusable but the view was still great and plenty of space around the pools which never felt crowded.
We organised some trips through the hotel which were very enjoyable.
Food was great throughout including at the two restaurants and room service. Lots of variety and quality excellent.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in due course.

Cannot fault
For context, my family and I stayed in 2 bedroom suite in August of 2026.
The food was great and offered a variety of international and local cuisine, the menus were refreshed daily and there was no sense of monotony despite being there for 5 nights. The Lebanese and Swahili fusion restaurant was a highlight and I would recommend it any day for dinner.
Despite spending little to no time in the rooms they were comfortable and truly luxurious. Being on the ground floor allowed us to have an expansive deck that held lots of conversation and card games into the late hours of the night
Although the beach access is not favorable and it being the month of August there was lots of seaweed especially as the tide built up. However. I must remark that this is not at all a reflection of a poor hotel just the seasonal variation along the East African coast..
