Underrated gem in downtown Amman with 4-star comfort and world-class hospitality

Beirut Hotel 2 completely exceeded my expectations from the moment I stepped inside. Although the entrance is a bit hidden—tucked away at the end of a side street, right past the barber shop and before the Biryani restaurant — you feel genuinely welcomed immediately upon arrival. The staff is exceptional: always smiling, fluent in English, and engaging in authentic conversation without ever feeling forced. When a minor issue pops up, they fix it right away. Breakfast was included, and even though the chef was away on medical leave, the hotel handled it seamlessly. They offered to reimburse me for breakfast outside or curate a local meal for me on-site. Being unfamiliar with the area, I chose the latter, and I was served a fresh, delicious traditional Jordanian breakfast on the top-floor terrace with an incredible view of Amman. The AC was a solid 10/10, the WiFi was fast, and watching the sunset over the Grand Husseini Mosque with the bustling city below was an unforgettable experience. Having traveled to 73 countries, I genuinely believe this place is underrated. It holds a 2* rating, yet the overall quality rivals a 4* Novotel or classic Hilton room. The room itself was remarkably spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower area was huge. I hate cramped showers, but here, the enclosure takes up half the bathroom with smooth sliding doors, making it super comfortable. There is absolutely nothing negative I could say about my stay. The downtown area has no better place to stay, and I will definitely book this hotel again without a second thought whenever I return to Amman.

Very central

In the center, near the souq Al Sukar and streets full of bars and shops, which come alive from late afternoon until night. We didn't have the car (luckily). Next door there is a multi-storey car park, but getting here is the Real Enterprise, Saturday evening traffic is crazy. Comfortable rooms in size, clean and well maintained. Young and very kind staff, always smiling. The discreet breakfast buffet is served in a panoramic lounge on the top floor. Only flaw, in the evening and early hours of the night you can hear the traffic noise

A great 3+ star hotel in Down town Amman. Modern & great staff

After several visits to Jordan (Amman) i decided to stay in this hotel. It's located downtown in Amman, really in the heart of it.
From the moment that we arrived until we even had left already this hotel was a pleasant surprise.
It recently had been restored. Though in the old centre it has a 3 - 4 star entrance and welcome. The rooms are very nice. and clean.
The bathroom is modern (as on the various pics on this site).
The breakfast is very good. Much choice, and the best omelet in town.
The view from the restaurant on the top form is stunning wit a beautiful view on the Grand Hussein mosque.
The staff is exceptional. All speak perfectly English. They are very kind and helpful.
Something to mention is that the owner even after I had left sent a message if the rest of my trip was okay!

Excellent hotel

Excellent downtown location, great eateries and within walking distance of the Citadel and Amphitheatre.
The hotel is spotless and the team welcoming, helpful and friendly.
Would highly recommend.
