Great desert experience with hearty, generous meals

Our one-night stay in the desert with our teenage daughter was a great experience. The food was typical of a desert camp but came in generous quantities, and the overall atmosphere made for a memorable night under the stars in Wadi Rum.

Without infamy and without praise

The course, located in a canyon, has its own charm. No special Welcoming with you or drinks. They gave me a dome with the air conditioner but it was turned on not before 2 pm. Luckily it was windy outside and the dome one of the last in line, more reserved. Inside, all the minimum necessary (like most environments of the various deserts) The very "touristy" and super crowded jeep excursions (this took poetry away from the environment and at sunset). The dinner a bit disappointing because the buffet is super and super crowded too. Good only the chicken cooked Bedouin and the other meat, which was supposed to be lamb, did not taste of lamb... I suspect it could have been camel because it was sweet, but it is only a suspicion... very abundant side dishes. Shortage of cutlery: to eat you had to make do where it happened. Much nighttime brightness prevented clear vision of the starry sky and no one woke us up at dawn to see the sun rise! Staff quite unwelcoming. In Morocco, years ago, apart from the heat of the tent which was not conditioned, tuttotalm another experience with the Bedouins much more available. In the evening no Jordanian show, but only deafening disco music. On the other hand, Wadi Rum is so beautiful that it fills the gaps.. Having to come back, I'd choose better.

Great location, and the camp facilities were excellent. The staff were very helpful and willing to help and support where they can.

Wonderful! It was like we were in the movie Duna

Wonderful! It was a perfect accommodation, very welcoming and with very delicious food. We stayed in a beautiful bungalow with heating and bathroom. It's worth coming.
