Filling dinner, not your typical ryokan
The hotel has two private rental onsen rooms which you can reserve for about 50min, each rental room has an indoor and outdoor onsen. When you check-in they'll ask you if you'd like to make a reservation as well as let you know what time-slots were available (first-come-first-served). My only gripe is that when I went to use the outdoor one, there were 2 spiders on the ground and some bugs flying around...I guess cos the place is surrounded by a lot of vegetation.
The best part was definitely the food. The dinner serving was huuuuge! Lots of fresh seafood; very tasty and very filling. They normally served breakfast from 8am, but because I had to catch the 815 bus, they were willing to accommodate my request for an earlier breakfast at 730am.
The ryokan only has about 8 rooms in total, so service is very personalized. It's a bit out of the way and not very easy to get to with public transport, everyone else who was staying there had driven. The ryokan also does not have an elevator, so if you have big luggage it might take more extra effort.

食事に満足
角部屋のプランを選びましたが一人には十分すぎる広さでした。
貸し切り風呂が素晴らしく50分が短く感じるほどでした。朝も入ることが出来たらさらに良かったのですが夕日を眺めながらの湯あみは思い出深いものとなりました。
夕食は大変豪華なものでお刺身、しゃぶしゃぶ、カニ、金目ダイと料金以上のもてなしを受けました。
部屋の半露天風呂はヒノキ風呂でゆったりとくつろぐことが出来ました。
窓にカーテンが無くて、シェードだけでしたの朝日がまぶしいのではないかと心配になりましたが温泉の力なのかぐっすりと眠ることが出来ました。
是非ともリピートしたい 宿です。
