Hidden Gem in Umbria
We had a wonderful stay in Panicale at this boutique hotel.
We received an email hours before checking in that the water may run out in the evening due to some maintenance scheduled by the town. There was trepidation on our part, as we were traveling with kids. The GM got involved and made us feel confident about getting there. It was a case of not using the right words in English when the staff wrote that email. The rooms had wonderful views of the lake. The breakfast was top notch. Highly recommended place two hours from Rome.

Great Italian boutique hotel in a beautiful city in Tuscany
Great hotel in a beautiful city at the border of Tuscany and two hours away from Rome
The service is excellent and friendly
The place is amazingly clean
The decor is made in very good taste and is elegant
The hotel has been newly renovated. It looks almost brand-new and beautiful
The food is average, yet the hotel still deserves five stars overall

Incredible hotel, can’t wait to go back!
We’ve stayed in lots of excellent hotels, but Rastrello was without a doubt the most incredible, understatedly luxurious hotel I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. From the moment we arrived, every staff member we interacted with was notably kind and sincere. The room was perfect in every way- luxurious linens, very comfortable bed and pillows, spacious and so comfortable that I would be happy just spending my day there. The view was incredible and the rest of the property was. Lovely. We ate at the restaurant both nights and the food was fantastic. Breakfast was excellent and so fresh, not at all the typical buffet of slightly stale pastries you find at so many hotels. We even spoke with the owner who couldn’t be nicer and we got so many great recommendations for our trip. Fantastic bath products, a private sauna and their own delicious olive oil were nice touches. I would go back without hesitation and I hope we are able to make it back again sometime soon

Stay in a fantastic village
I had the pleasure of staying for one night at this property.
It 'attention to detail, clean and the rooms are equipped with every comfort for the guest.
The rooms are well soundproofed and air conditioned.
Very courteous and helpful staff, well maintained and clean outdoor spaces.
The only flaw perhaps from breakfast considering the category of the hotel I would have expected something more.
I hope to return as soon as possible in this magnificent to enjoy the beautiful view.

Attention to detail by the owner for sure...
This was one of my favorite properties during my September visit to Italy, and i traveled pretty much the entire country and stayed in various properties. This property was selected on my way back from Florence to Rome. We love that rustic medieval design, the old stones, the old town...
This property has clearly not saved a penny in its design and finishing, the owner has put a lot of heart and love into this Boutique Hotel, so well done and i wish them all the best in their success. The reception, outside dining area, breakfast lounge, rooms, amazing in design, so well thought out.
Room wise, we selected a room with a balcony, and wow, the view was amazing, looked out of the hills and lake, like picture, could sit for hours and just take it all in. Spacious room, king bed, amazing pillows, great linens, plenty of wardrobe space and a luxurious bathroom (rain shower, perfect) and also the option of the bath. The attention to detail in this room, has been 1005 thought of.
Restaurant, outside, weather wise, perfect, service overall excellent and the food selections, many and all full of flavor...We actually arrived during their wine festival, not by knowing, just by accident, was interesting, great to see the locals keeping tradition.
This property does offer some options for day trips for the guest, truffle finding was one we were looking at, but time did not allow.
Staff here, all excellent, made our stay so welcoming...keep it, would 100% go back..
