You can't talk about the beautiful Baroque towns of the Val di Noto without mentioning Catania! Although for many it's the entryway city to Sicily, it has its own fair share of stunning architecture and is worth a few days visit at the minimum.
The most beautiful one was on Etna ..... it's great !!! it's worth it at least once to see ..
By plane you can get to Catania, to which you dedicate at least a couple of days before leaving.
The historic center of Catania has been declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and if you were in Sicily, take a trip to Catania, to discover at least the beauty of this historic center, of the Baroque on its palaces and churches, to then indulge yourself excellent ricotta pastries in the bars, a granita, a fish-based dinner, sea bass? Sole? Lobster? What you prefer. Average low costs, hotels and restaurants for all budgets, not to be missed in Piazza del duomo, the water in linzolu of the Amenano fountain.
