Location A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel «Ca D Becon» is located in Bubbio. This hotel is located in the very center of the city. In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel. Places nearby: Piazza Acquaverde, Castello d'Albertis and Galata Maritime Museum.At the hotel In the shared kitchen, you can cook anything you want. Free Wi-Fi on the territory will help you to stay on-line. Children will be happy, there is a playroom for them. You won’t have to leave your pet at home as they are allowed.

Excellent sty for students !
We spent a full week at Ca d'Becon with a large group of students from the University of Geneva and we really enjoyed the hospitality and the warm welcome. Ideal location for visiting the beautiful Langhe Astigiane and the Spigno valleys. We strongly recoomend this place which is a great value for money and won't leave you disappointed.

very friendly, nicely located and clean
Ca d'becon is a very nice place to stay. It is nicely located near the village of bubbio. the room i stayed in had a nice balcony. The room and bathroom were clean and nicely furnished. The owner is a very nice man who practises his English in a nice way. He has a very tastefull garden.
I enjoyed my stay very much! The price is friendly too!

I spent little time with Mjriam , either for my work or because she was obviously the day away with friends but took just the few times we spoke to understand that it is a dear and pleasant person with whom you are comfortable , very patient and understanding with my English not very fair , I'm sure if we had more time to be together I learned a lot from her . I really hope to see you again and not an economic issue

Excellent place to stay in Piemonte
We stayed for 10 nights in May 2012 in Gianfranco's rooms-for-rent (in Italian: Affittacamere Ca d'Becon). The rooms are located on the first floor (second, if counted by American convention) of a two-storey house in the close proximity of the very small town of Bubbio, in the Asti area of Piemont region. There is a free parking lot near the house available 24/7, so the place is ideal for those travelling by car / renting a car. The bus stop is around 150m away but we never attempted using the local bus service (though seen buses quite frequently). The place is around 2min. drive from Bubbio town center, 15 min. drive to the towns of Canelli and Acqui Terme, around 25-30 min. drive to the towns of Alba and Asti and around 1.5 hour drive (assuming using the autostradas) from Turin and Genova. The Serravalle Designer Outlet shopping centre is also only 1 hour drive away. There are quite a few good restaurants, including a few Michelin-starred ones, in the close proximity (calling before you go to check if it’s open is an absolute must for smaller places). The premises include 4 rooms (2 with private and 2 with shared bathrooms) and have an independent access from the street. We occupied a room with a Double bed, a private bathroom with a shower and a balcony (actually big enough to be called a patio). The furniture in the room was antique, but very carefully restored and comfortable. The bathroom we were using looked brand new and unworn. The premises also have a shared kitchen area equipped with necessary cutlery which the guests can use to cook their own lunch and dinner from products which can be bought in a few shops in town and stored in a shared fridge. Some basic food for breakfast (like pre-packaged toast, croissants, pastries, jam, honey, Nutella, fish preserves etc.) was also provided. A positive surprise was a Nespresso coffee machine with stock of capsules carefully topped up every day. There were also a few bottles of nice locally-produced wine available free of charge. There was a free wireless internet connection available but the signal was not very strong (enough to check e-mails, though). Both the room and the kitchen had satellite TV with a few dozens Italian channels and there were also MTV and BBC World available in English. The host Gianfranco lives in the other (isolated) part of the same house. During our stay he was always very caring, helpful and committed to assist us in every possible way. He speaks some English (and writes even better, thanks to (website hidden) translate) so there is no problem to talk to him. Overall, our stay was very pleasant, the place just ideal for those renting a car (like ourselves) and wishing to get away from big cities and try some ‘real’ Italy. We can recommend the place and the host with utmost confidence.

Pulito, accogliente e tanta gentilezza
Sono stata in questo B&B con un amica per fare un giro nelle langhe, all'insegna della natura e del buon vino. La location e' caratteristica, pulita e non manca davvero nulla. La proprieta' super gentile, pronta a dare assistenza e consigli utili sulle attivita' e posti della zona. Ci siamo trovate benissimo, davvero consigliato!

Grazie Manuela per l'apprezzamento che, considerato l'impegno che ci mettiamo, è sempre gradito e confortante..Abbiamo ospitato lei e la sua amica Paola un paio di notti, persone che definire molto a modo è il minimo. Praticamente non hanno lasciato segno del loro passaggio, se non fosse che la pulizia degli ambienti ovviamente è di default e che le giuste attenzioni e precauzioni legate al Coronavirus comportano la logica disinfezione di locali ed accessori si sarebbe potuto fare a meno di intervenire. Al di la di questo mi ha colpito la simpatia,mai invadente, che nasce da quella squisita sensibilità tipicamente femminile che finisco sempre con l'ammirare ed un pò invidiare. Spero davvero di tornare ad ospitarle

Abbiamo ospitato Paolo per qualche giorno, a parte il fatto che non ci siamo praticamente accorti della sua presenza è stato piacevole, interessante e stimolante fare la sua conoscenza. Un vero e proprio personaggio. Ci ha accomunato subito una certa visione del Mondo e di questa nuova società imbarbarita e soprattutto la passione per lo sport (quello vero).Lui tra l'altro, con un trascorso come corridore di montagna con risultati ottimi a livello regionale ed anche nazionale. Anche durante il suo soggiorno nella nostra struttura si è concesso ogni giorno lunghe camminate nel territorio. Una persona fuori dal comune, caratterizzato da una spiccata simpatia e naturale predisposizione empatica, con quella schiettezza,umiltà ed essenzialità che tanto amo nel carattere piemontese
