Fantastic location
We stayed here at Corte Serra x 2:nights, the room was gorgeous furnished in antique style with very special objects. Spacious room and very comfortable beds.
Corte Serra is also well positioned for those who want to visit Bari and be in the historic center of old Bari.
I recommend it to everyone and if one day we return to bari we will definitely stay here again.

Unique and cozy stay in old town
Enjoyed staying in such a unique property in the historic center of Bari! Great location with close proximity to everything, and a quiet room despite the central area. My room had such nice decor and a comfortable space. The entrance courtyard is picturesque and right off one of the main town squares.
The host was kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. It was lovely being able to exit the property and be right in the heart of Bari's old town.
The stairs are not to be underestimated, especially due to their historic quality i.e. low clearance and narrow walkway. Thankfully the host carried my suitcase upstairs and I mostly enjoyed their uniqueness, but they may be a concern for others.

Amazing place to stay – super beautiful, comfortable, perfect location
This place is amazing! It is one of the most stylish rooms that I have ever stayed, it's prepared in the most welcoming way, the location cannot be better, and the hosts are super nice.
The room: I stayed in their double room. The room has a nice, big, comfortable bed. It has a large window facing the courtyard – the most movie-like typical Italian courtyard with the elderly sitting around and chatting (they were even drying pasta when I arrived :)) The design of the room is amazing! It looks a little kitsch and cluttered on the pictures but it is none - it is perfect! (And I'm saying this as a person whose design taste is minimal and industrial. Imagine that.) They have coffee (in jars - not those tiny packages) and mini cupcakes (individually packed) – all of which gives this warm welcoming feeling.
The location: It's in the middle of the old town Bari, right next to the Basilica. It cannot get better than that.
The hosts: The hosts are great – as soon as I booked, they messaged me and kept in touch throughout my arrival and stay, immediately responding to messages. I don't speak Italian – which was not a problem at all. The son of the family speaks perfect English :)
The history: They told me that the building dates back to 1300s and has been owned by the family for 6 generations! The upper floors apparently date back to 1600s. It was a tower building built in the Middle Ages for defense and then was owned by the noble family Serra which is also the name of the street.
Few things to keep in mind: The double room is quite small. So for people with a lot of luggage or for bigger people, the space might be tight. And the stairs are quite steep. So it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
My last comment would be: If you have the chance to stay here, don't miss it! I can come back to Bari just for that :)

Atmosfera d’altri tempi
Posizione fantastica di fronte la cattedrale e a due passi dal castello. Camera dall’atmosfera romantica, silenziosa, molto pulita, un “chicchino”, con complementi ricercati e non banali, comprese le tende bianche ricamate a mano. Il bagno, sebbene piccolo, e’ funzionale, con wc e doccia separati, mentre il lavabo, posto vicino la finestra, ha un piano d’appoggio largo e profondo, molto comodo. Sono stata letteralmente “travolta” dal profumo e morbidezza dell’ asciugamano viso, dettagli di solito trascurati. Disponibilità, e cortesia dei proprietari rendono ancor più piacevole il soggiorno. Consigliatissimo

Vacanza a Bari
Camere comode, belle , originali e pulitissime, persone gentilissime e disponibili a qualsiasi ora, abbiamo passato bellissima vacanza ....... lo consiglio vivamente a tutti e torneremo appena ci e possibile.
